For years C&T were pro-adoption, it's only been the last few years that they've become anti-adoption. Tyler was the one that pushed Cate to go through with adoption when she was having doubts.
They were pro adoption and pro-life. I remember Cate had a pro-life sticker on her minivan well into Teen Mom. Sheās now saying she is pro-choice and considered abortion. Iām not judging any political views I just find it interesting how different the narrative is and Iām not sure which is true

Ok so Tyler is super douchey and all that like 1000% but Iām pretty sure he means birth fathers as far as adoptions go and I would have to say that based on my knowledge of adoption he is correct. I have many people in my life who were adopted and eventually at the very least spoke to and got answers from their bio moms. Also have two family members who adopted children from foster care. Out of all of these people only one situation had the bio parents still together. And one other bio mom had the info for the bio dad. Thatās literally it. It seems like or was reported like the beginning of the end of the relationships was the pregnancy. And the bio dads were not involved in the delivery process of a baby they were not keeping with a woman who they were no longer with.

I have to agree. My experience working in the postpartum unit was often just the birth mom. I can't recall ever seeing a father in those situations.
