Last time I did, it was the 24V Christmas lights on my tree. My cat had chewed the original power supply off, soooooo... Lab psu to the rescue until the replacement arrived.
Anything bigger than a nose hair trimmer not having a plug for an AC adapter just seems criminal IMO.

In the earlier days of cell phones, someone needed to charge their whatever but only had the cigarette plug adapter.
