Do you realize how those tariffs would have fucked over a company that helps prop up our country’s economy and is usually one of our largest corporate taxpayers? Costco is suing the government over the issue, it’s that bad.
Idk, Apple is a global behemoth and China just had a massive trade surplus because of dipshit’s tariffs. Looks to me, since they make and sell the phones in China… the rest of the world is moving on and doing business with each other while America is getting screwed.
They’re a huge employer, one of the largest corporate taxpayers, and a massive revenue generator. They have huge contracts with other companies that are similar in those regards. It’s estimated about 3 million people either work directly for Apple or indirectly in supplier and infrastructure roles.
I know this is an important issue and I’m disgusted with apple but all I can picture is Michael Cera’s dorky face promoting “fake block”. That would fit with the current timeline we’re in.
