Those are some sad looking tacos. Meat looks old and dry, as do the tortillas. I’m sure there are better places in and around Schaumburg to get god tacos.
The other one I've seen is in Naperville... kinda says it all that it's a "Mexican" chain in a metro area with a ton of Mexican folks that only has restaurant locations in the whitest towns within it lmao
My ex gf and I went and she’s white. She asked for horchata and they said they don’t have that. That’s when we looked at each other and went “oh” lol. We both realized it’s one of thoseeee places
I went to the location in Lincolnwood/Skokie area. I was like…there are fellow Mexicans working here. How are you ok with this? Do you eat this? What is happening? Do you need help? Blink twice if you are being held against your will.
I got the gnarliest food poisoning from this location two years ago when I was celebrating a coworker’s birthday and it was so bad the ER almost had me stay me overnight the next day💀 never going back and I warn everyone away from this place
I love Fat Rosie's. They have great food and their salsa is really good but I would never order tacos there because they are stupidly expensive. OP paid $20 for that. My go to is that shrimp entree, Camarones al mojo de ajo
3in tortillas you can put 6 in the plate and skip the beans and rice. Very common in Mexican markets and food carts the "taco albañil" that has everything on it stew, rice, beans on a tortilla or taco de huevo con arroz (don't remember the exact name). Imo Using rice and mashed beans on the side of tacos seems very cheap. Include some grilled onions, chiles toreados, halved grilled spring onions. Anything that you can add to the taco. Rice and beans is a perfect side for Many foods but not tacos.
The tortillas look like they were carved out of stone meant for the great pyramid

General rule, if the tacos come served in one of those stainless steel shell holder they are going to be whack
And overpriced
I say that too lmao. If I hear "craft taco" I'm done doing business with ya.
Golf to Algonquin to the La Rosita market in Mt Prospect
Saddest looking Tacos I'll likely see today, but then again, the day is young
Those are 2 bite tacos, the portions are way too small and the prices are too high, this place used to be better. Drinks are good
You nailed, definitely 2 bites and done. ✔️ them off my list.
Those tortillas look like the bottom of an old man’s foot 🤢
Looks great if you don’t mind overpaying for under portioned tacos.
I would not get fat at Rosie’s

😩
Need to kiss the tortilla with grill oil or something before filling. Those tortillas appear quite dry.
Nah, miss
🤮
Eww
Those tortillas look dry AF. The beans look dry as well also because of the coloring of the beans, they look canned.
These aren’t quality, I feel bad that your money is wasted.
I wouldn't pay money for that.
Those tortillas look drier than Gandhi's flip flop.
The stand alone makes my mind go to “sus” country immediately lol
Whack

Honestly this does not look good loo
Yeah dont go to places that use that metal holder thing. The tacos are always trash and the prices up. And it’s mostly white wash food
Yikes.

Nothing looks good here. But I’ve been to Schaumburg, so it’s on par for the local gastronomy. Bar set low.
Goddamn Illinois sucks
Chicagoans making a claim for having great tacos and Mexican food aren't exactly making a strong case with this abomination.
Dude this is garbage chain shit, not true authentic Mexican which the city and suburbs are full of
This is a chain out in a very white suburb. Doesn't really have anything to do with legit Mexican food in Chicago.
Schaumburg is not Chicago
