I've made a costume change to a fully unbuttoned shirt so I can stand in my driveway and do my best DiCaprio in titanic/ Peter Andre impression
Great idea, let me just quickly unbutton my shirt and then spend ten years at the gym to get Peter Andre abs.
I'm starting to see movement in the trees at Campbelltown- still 35 though 🥵 Dogs are waiting patiently at the back-door for their freedom.
My dog was barking at me for her walk, I’m like “Have I ever let you down? At 10pm you’ll thank me”. It’s 10pm, 24°, and I’m thanking me. Bliss!
Love this, thanks everyone who has given updates. Best kind of community crowdsourcing data 👍 I’m in the outer west and still sweltering but you have given us hope.
It hit the airport around 30 minutes ago, judging by the Emirates A380's two missed approaches - one from the south followed by one from the north. Couldn't decide which way the wind was blowing so decided to head for Brisbane.
It's arrived in Bankstown. Not a moment too soon, I've had my ancient AC off since 7pm to give the poor bugger a break. Definitely replacing the AC this winter. YAY COOL BREEZE, I'm off for a walk
Looking at my car thermometer temperature coming over Tom Ugly's Bridge - 41° temperature turning onto Port Hacking Rd - 30° temperature coming into North Cronulla - 26° Good idea to go for a drive to Cronulla rather sitting in my sweat box at home.
Next level slow-roast. Usually its 120-140c for a few hours, but I guess 40c for a few days also works.
In this area too - ended up hanging around outside after putting rubbish out to enjoy something more tolerable and fresh!
It was fun watching the change move up the coast on windy. com I had family on each side of the change and the northerners were anxiously waiting
Came though in the east about 40 minutes ago. I've got the door propped open and finally turned the fan off.
And I can confirm it’s blissful! Just took the dog out , first walk in several days!!!! 🐶 happy dog, happy hoomans
Patiently waiting for it's arrival in the inner west.
Think it’s just arrived in Marrickville

Pretty damn nice. All doors & windows thrown open.

Isn’t that DiCaprio in Romeo and Juliet? 🤔
This is the good news I need today
Camden - not yet. Still steamy here.
St Helens Park. Aircon is begging to be turned off. I'm too stingy for days like today
The wind from the east just started picking up near Narellan, hold on just a bit longer

Thank goodness.
Why do the hobbits get to cool down first and us orcs in Mordor (inner West) have to wait
One does not simply...cool down in Mordor. You musy be more..orc-anised
Beginning to understand why they call it God’s country.

Smells like bushfire though :(
My air conditioner can have its hard earned rest.
Just hit the eastern suburbs!
Here comes the humidity
It's a southerly. If you've booked a table outside, maybe think again. Chilly out.
