I agree on Michaela but I think Anika’s boot was strategically sound for everyone involved. Sam and her had consistent personality clashes and didn’t trust each other so it made sense for him to target her over someone like Andy whose main loyalty was to him & who he didn’t see as a strong player going into the merge; Andy was on the bottom and Sam was the one who put in the most work to scoop him up, so it makes sense that he’d be happy to ride with Sam on anyone that isn’t him; and Sierra knew that she’d be both other parties’ #2 in a Rachel/Anika/Sierra trio, while she’d be Sam’s #1 in a Sam/Andy/Sierra trio.
What this isn’t a sexist thing, Michaela specifically trusted Jay/will too much, and she revealed how hard she was actually playing. That’s why she got voted off.. not cause she’s a women C’mon..
Pretty much anything Russell Hantz’s nephew did was unintentionally hilarious to me. And in a way coach because he kept leading him further and further down the path to self destruction!

Up it kept getting worst until it went off the rails, he was clearly not suited to play even after the first time, Jeff probably shouldn’t have brought him back again tbh.

It more likely has to do with there being fewer returnee seasons since MvGx (33). You had Game Changers (34), EoE (39), WaW (40), and now 50. He didn't win, so he was ineligible for WaW, GC was right after MvGx, and Zeke and Michaela were that season's representatives. That leaves EoE, where there were only 4 returnees (one being David from MvGx), he just didn't make the cut.
For sure a more reasonable answer. He did start doing multi seasons of the challenge and seemed to enjoy that. I have no clue if he said he would do survivor again, but The Challenge kept calling so he kept going.

Jay annoyed me TBH. He wasn't a smart, cerebral player. It was almost like he voted with the last person who talked to him before tribal council. Him voting out Michaela was a stupid, pointless move for his game. To this day, I still couldn't even tell you the reason why he did it.
Different strokes for different folks. I wouldn't call him a good player but he's fun to watch, the michaela stare-down was just some fun TV. I'm just a fan of players who really tap into that cut throat element of the game and own it
And another one of my favourites during Thailand’s car reward. Jeff begins the challenge by telling everyone “you’re standing on the first clue”. And as soon as the challenge begins? Everyone sprints off and he disappointedly repeats “you’re standing on the first one”
The Chrissy and Cole scene is even funnier knowing Ryan already dug it up and it was in his underwear.
And I wish more new era people reacted to their exits like Anika. It was even funnier when Andy flipped on Gata at final 11 and Anika said on Twitter “I wouldn’t have flipped”
Tony and Jeremy arguing about what two weeks truly is on WaW. It was such a random clip to include, so it made it all the more funny. They’re both just witty/sharp, unintentionally funny people in general.

I was just wondering yesterday, how did they get the reverse shot of Michaela? It seems they’d have to stop production and let a camera man over there to get the shot so she had to probably recreate it before grabbing her torch.
The funniest survivor interaction to me is Russell and B. Rob on HvV discussing who to get rid of, and Russell, with fully audacity, with Courtney and Sandra in the vicinity, point to them and say "one of these."

The way Rob was so dumbfounded, along with Russell being like "what do you want me to say" and Sandra and Courtney looking at him before going back to what theyre doing and answering Rob makes this the peak funniest moment of the show. Never laughed so hard.

I just always chuckle thinking back at how Jeff makes a drive-by comment touching on the unconscious biases of the voting public without really dwelling or it (or potentially even being in the headspace to actually process it in 2004) before just going "Anyways!" and moving along with business.
Funny but sad, when three women convinced this young, naive guy (Erik) to give up his idol, then voted him out. I genuinely felt bad for him but to his credit he took it well.
