Glenn Or Amy Or Season 6 situation Dina and glen co managing.

  • Amy is the normal one. Definitely her

  • Amy because I couldn't deal with Glenn's religious preachiness.

I also just recently watched the episode again where he makes them all buy his wife’s crafts like they don’t make minimum wage.

  • Amy

She's not perfect, especially in her personal life. But at least she doesn't do things like bring her religion into the workplace or force people to feel obligated to buy Jonah's crafts to make him feel better about himself. Glenn abused his authority constantly and he wasn't even good at his job. He accidentally embezzled thousands of dollars. At least Amy isn't going to get my store shut down in scandal and me moved to another location to keep my job.

Amy's mistakes came from being new to management, but Glenn shouldn't have been as bad at his job as he was by the time we saw him.

  • Amy. I could not deal with Glenn's character voice, nor his Christian goofiness.

  • Amy would be the type of boss you’d HATE, but…you could still admit she’s good at the job.

    Where Glenn you’d just hate…..

Dina you’d despise for how rule following and tough she is, but could still respect her authority.

I feel like Amy always looked out for everyone.

  • Amy. I work in retail, and there are total douche bag employees at my store, who treat others like crap. Glenn is a total push over, so he would let them bully him, aka he would pretty much let his own, douche bag employees do whatever they wanted. But Amy wouldn’t put up with it.

Although if it were a choice I would choose, Glenn and Dina as co-managers. Having co-managers, there would always be a manager on duty. Glenn would be super nice and always reward things like hard work, but Dina would definitely make sure that there were no douche bag employees at the store.

  • Amy for sure. Glenn's religious nonsense would get old fast. I've worked at clinics where the people in charge are super religious. It isn't fun, regardless of how nice they are.

As Dina put it, "I'm a Christian too, but in these four walls my bible is the employee code of conduct".

  • Dina lol

Dina reminds me a lot of my first retail boss. Dialed up to 11 for TV of course, but she was a hard-nosed little battleaxe. She was equally hard on all of us and applied the rules the same to us all as such

So much better than Home Depot later where HR had her friends, the store manager had his and everyone got treated differently depending upon whose list they were on (if any)

I answered something so similar! Hated the favorites game. Dina is the dream manager because she will pal around with you a little bit and has compassion for the employees but to an appropriate extent.

I've worked with a Dina before. Literally and figuratively. Real Dina was chill and laid back, rough around the edges. Smoked weed, think biker chick. The figurative Dina took ALOT to grow on you but ran such a tight shift that, if you were a good worker, you didn't really have a bad time and she cracked the whip on those who needed to do better. "If you can lean, you can clean" was her motto.

  • Glenn only if Dina is also there if not Amy

Yeah, they do sorta balance each other out, don't they?

  • Dina. At least I’d know where I stand. Glenn would be straight up awful and Amy plays favourites.

  • I was a retail manager for 10 years so I would have to co-manage under them.

I would pick Dina! She is vegan like me, and consistent with her management style. She doesn't play favorites. She is friendly but keeps the healthy manager distance. Also a loyal friend when she gets to know you. I'm talking like

    She is friendly

    I'm sorry, what's that now? 😂

She has her moments, she's not warm and cuddly

I have a pretty different take. I find her incredibly rude, dismissive, bullying, and just plain nasty. Like her behavior when the "secret shopper" was supposed to be in the store... she was a literal monster to multiple customers. She assaulted Jonah in Workplace Bullying. She treats Sandra like garbage and constantly humiliates her. She is the second least friendly person on the entire staff, after Mateo, and in real life she would be a nightmare to work with.

  • Amy. She seems like a good combo of get shit done but also not like Dina when it comes to rules.

  • Amy! She made a lot of good changes and she cared a lot

  • Glenn or Amy. Amy is the most normal, and she cared about the workers. But Glenn also truly cared. Like when he visited the diner where Amy was working every night or when he covered for Matteo (yeah, that social security number was totally legit!). Giving Cheyenne paid maternity leave even though he had to know that would blow up in his face. I wouldn’t buy Jerusha’s crafts, though.

  • Garrette was the best floor manager.

  • Glem, I need my boss to address the needs of all employees and not just their favorites.
