This actually reminds me of Aioi Yuuko from the anime Nichijou. She too is a very silly person who sometimes reads the room wrong and does silly things.
Idk, I actually find these sorts of moments hilarious when they happen to me. The more extreme the thing that happened to me, the funnier they are. “Are you Satsuki Kiryuin” after talking about what my mom was like is guaranteed to make me almost suffocate.
