This made me so happy. It felt like hearing the crisp hiss of the hatch of the Seamoth closing when getting in it for the first time, and tentatively testing how it moves finally getting it up to speed, then you hear the clear vibration of the power cell and propulsion. Every first time of Subnautica is impossible to forget the feeling of.
No, we just all play too much subnautica and hear it everywhere 🤣 i work on cars and some of the hybrid’s have a hum that sounds like the cyclops when it’s moving. Makes me happy
Asmr with a small slide of Thalassophobia
ThalassAsmr (sounds like I’m chewing on peanut butter)
I'm actually working on an ASMR survival horror game.

Edit: and yes it has underwater building at depth.
One of the best sounds. Sounds like freedom.
It’s the start of an adventure

The snappy sound design of Subnautica was part of what made it so immersive and great. I always loved the crisp snap-hum of the fabricator.
The speeding up and slowing down sounds like DonPollo videos of him saying “un video mami pa mi gente”
