It works out good and bad. Most boats have a local name that people will attach to it, Vanguard - Mudguard, Superb - Super Bee, Ambush - The Mighty Boosh......
I dont like the look of the forward-leaning conning tower with non-retractable fins. That why I consider project 971 to be the most beautiful submarine of that generation, and I will die on this hill.
HMS Vanguard liked them so much they gave one a little love tap ❤️
The British navy has some cool names.

The French do make some beautiful boats. The Suffren class is perhaps the best looking SSN out there too.

I’ve always felt like Russian subs with their low, streamlined sails look really eye-pleasing and just more hydrodynamic overall
Looks too much like an airship for my liking
Exactly what went through my head. Le Zeppelin
Ours are definitely better 🇬🇧
As far as boomers go, I'll take the Ohios, Typhoons, and the Delta IVs over France's offerings.
What's your take on the upcoming Colombia Class (the Ohio Class replacement)?
Not the best name though.
