The bagpipes are an interesting touch. Is that standard for a boat coming into Faslane? Do the Scots supply the piper, or is it one of the boat's crew that learned the pipes on the way? The latter would be...painful for the rest of the crew.
In France's Brittany they play the biniou, local equivalent of the bagpipe. Celtic people. That may be the reason.
