In my opinion the best cars for driving, i have 6 of these. High roof touring, flat roof wagon and sedan. Apart from being slow for todays standard they are amazing and always my first pick when available
Dude, this thing is so hot. Can you take off the tops of the upper struts and see if you still have the air connections there? I would love to see a functioning air suspension set up. If your air suspension still works, I would love love love to see a video of the car, adjusting its height, and the compressor running. I seriously love your posts and they make my day every time.
Squeaky clean, but it looks like you left it in the dryer too long. If you don't take the hood out and hang it up right away, it'll get all wrinkly like this.
Lucky you.. Most cars where i live only last 15-20 years. Winter is brutal. I wish i lived in a region were cars don't rust to nothing. When i was a kid most cars were total rust buckets at 10 years old. The protective coatings got better but they didn't want them too good cause regions like where you live. Cause cars would last at least 50 years without rusting to dust.
May she last many more
1985 was 40 years ago...... existensial crisis intensifies
Sir where is your spare tire? The spare on top of the engine is an essential part of the charm!
I just took it off to clean it I might put it back later
I think it was considered part of the crash structure, too! x.x
That thing is so clean, get that hood fixed and color matched then just drive her. That would be a dream of a car for me
Didn’t you post this the other day saying you just bought this and asked what to do with it?
Yep I bought it about a month ago
had to choose between washing it and fixing the hood
I loved my 86 GL-10 Turbo
Parents had an 86 too, learned to drive manual on that bad boy.
OMG I had an '85 GL-10!!
Happy to see this. I love these cars and can’t remember the last time I saw one.
I know you recently purchased it, but do you have any idea what the original sale price was?
I’d be interested to know as well…
Like 6k- 12k depending on model and trim.

Why not 7?
Technically they are 8, if we include the '83 touring wagon and the Brat....
That is awesome!
Classy looking car...keep her in good shape!
She’s beautiful 🤩
Nice piece of history.
Excellent song.
It's a beaut, Clark.
man. that hood and the rear bumper. good job though. looks pretty great.
Happy birthday!
I feel like you should keep the hood.. it's like wrinkles or stretch marks. Nothing wrong with showing the life you lived on your body
Ooof that bonnet is definitely rough. Very shiny though. She looks good

Yes the air suspension works!

Where is the rust? The last time i seen that model car was 30 years ago. They simply turned into a rust bucket after a few years.
There is la little bit just gonna give it a scrape and it’s good
