I need to crave âdominosâ to order from there as if Iâm craving pizza dominos doesnât hit the spot. Iâm the same with McDonalds, I wonât go there if I want a burger.
Oh man I totally get this! Iâm in Toronto and we have this really cheap/low quality pizza chain called âPizza Pizzaâ. It has neon orange branding and whenever we had a pizza party in grade school it was ALWAYS Pizza Pizza. If Iâm craving pizza, âPizza Pizzaâ is the last thing Iâd order. But if Iâm craving Pizza Pizza, there is nothing else in the world Iâd rather have in that moment! Their pizza isnât great but they have these great dipping sauces for the crust.
Absolutely! I know for sure a big part of the enjoyment I get is that the specific branding and flavour, that is hitting some âchildhood memory nerveâ.
Iâm not sure about other people but some smells/sounds trigger memories I havenât thought about in decades, and theyâre always vivid memories too
Are you talking about Little Caesars or is this "Pizza Pizza" place basically a knock off Little Caesars? The orange branding and dipping sauces just sounds so much like Little Caesars lol
Hahaha funny you ask that! Pizza pizza is a totally separate company started in Canada (late 60s, 10 years after little caesars was founded). When little caesars wanted to enter the Canadian market they had to change their tag line to âhot nâ readyâ instead of âpizza pizzaâ since that was already a well known trade mark here. Iâve never had little caesars myself but Iâve heard several people say itâs a step UP (!) from pizza pizza :)
All you gotta do is bake the pizza for 15 minutes plus itâs better quality but being honest papa Murphyâs pizza lacks a lot of flavor in it thatâs for them folks who donât like too much sodium
Overpriced , quality is meh đ«€. They do deliver pretty late so thatâs definitely a plus if youâre a night owl đŠ. Pretty much the only time Iâll consider ordering when not much else is open.
Their deals can be pretty awesome on the app, especially if you're craving a later night munchie or need to feed a good amount of people for a decent price. But yes, if I'm wanting a true quality pie, I'm not going to Domino's. They do know their clientele though, I will tell you that much. Especially after they reformed the whole brand and quality.
I must admit I havenât tried the app, but thatâs because I refuse to download apps for any restaurants and many other places. Something about needing an app to get deals pisses me off. I donât want them all stealing my data I guess and taking up space on my phone. I probably sound like an old fart saying that but as an Elder Millennial I remember when non of this crap existed.
Mine isn't even really the quality of the food, it's their delivery that is bad. The driver either always has too many orders and my shit comes cold or he is a dick and my shit comes cold.
I feel everyone has an amazing local pizza spot that beats out chain restaurants. Maybe he doesn't have that or they don't deliver. Either way the recipe sounded good.
I lowkey prefer Little Ceasars. It helps that theres one on the way home from work, but it's cheap, filling and I literally just have to order the food, go to the store and I dont even have to talk to anyone cause you can just get it from that pizza portal thing. Dominos is good pizza but its like someone else said, I feel like i have to specifically crave Dominos vs Little Caesars I could get it at any point and like it every time.
Domino's used to be the "crap" pizza chain when I was a kid... it was just so bad. Now its all I order. I dunno if my location is just awesome, or maybe because its so close by that the deliveries are all still too hot to eat when they arrive, but the level of customization they offer for the price is unbeatable. I figured id try papa John's again a few weeks ago (because they used to be the "good" pizza place) and not only was it $60 for 18 wings and one pie, it was the most ass nasty excuse for pizza ever. Even the garlic sauce (which, be real, is all papa John's was ever good for) was different and gross. I even worked there for about a year when I moved cities and needed fast money. Gave me an all electric company car. They're blowing the papas doors off and have successfully out pizza'd the hut.
Dominos has always been my favorite chain pizza. One of the few that has salami as a pizza topping. And the thin and crispy is just so damn good! Sucks literally every dominos near me nowadays is trash though.

Sometimes, nostalgia has flavor.

the human brain is a wild thing

I respect your right to your opinion, but I will have to kindly disagree
Fair, the only other choice in town is a really shitty Pizza Hut, unfortunately. We also have a Papa Murphyâs, but Iâm lazy

You're lucky you have a good dominos. The one by me is ass.
Same. I feel like this is how most dominos are

The one in my town wonât even deliver to me and I live 10 minutes away lmao, they donât have a parking lot for pickup either
I live about a .5 mile from a dominos and I always just go pick it up. Itâs cheaper and the quality is always so much better.
I have to order extra sauce tho or itâll be dry as hell
I went through a time there when I was ordering Domino's Philly cheese steak pizza every couple of weeks. It looks delicious.
used to be!!
Not bad for what it is, but I go to Doug's Point Place when I want real pizza.

We only have a really shitty Pizza Hut, or Papa Murphys đ
We had a person who lived in New York who said on a company all hands call that her favorite pizza was dominoes.
She was let go a month later. Was it related? No one will ever know

I would say it's a stretch to say they are the best, but they are my fav out of the main chains. I get it when they do the $9.99 any toppings.

I didn't know they offered goat! Is it US? if not, what country?
And the banana peppers OH GODDAMN đ€€
This looks bomb
