Looking at this makes me miss how simple everything felt back then. Music, dumb drama online, and hanging out without thinking too much about the future.
yessss I miss the way the entire room yelled the lyrics to bodak yellow in my junior prom. The future worries were definitely there, but we had no idea about all the awful things that were to come in the future.
I had that experience with Facebook in middle school back in 2012, I honestly thought it was dead to the next generation of kids after us because that’s just where all the parents hung out
This was 2015 and to clarify about facebook Twitter got SUPER POPULAR, and so was tumblr at the time. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON VINE. the youth migrated to different platforms for new form factors of content and never looked back, leaving all the older people who just wanted to connect with loved ones collecting dust on Facebook.
