Maybe instead of it letting go at a vertical point its on a timer so after half a second (this is a rough estimate) it lets go. It might lead to more efficient throwing [this is just a suggestion idk much about game development]
The most effective moment to release would be when the chain is in line with the wooden beam it's connected to, at least in real life. Should work similarly in a good enough physics engine
This is dope, btw have you considered adding your development process of Gerald to ur YT? Seems like the kind of thing u put there. Also trebuchet pog.
And I would like to know how the building system was made to rest on a wall, because just like RUST, your building should only fall when it destroys the LAST wall of the building

Ah, The SUPERIOR siege weapon
Hide yo catapults
Ballista and Trebuchet are superior to all other siege weaponry
This is amazing! To what degree can the aiming mechanism change the projectile? (I.e. what’s the range of weapon’s trajectory/angle?)
Right now you can't set the range at all, but I think I'll add a way to set the degree of release!

I'll definitely consider it! Was considering making a few more mobs and then doing a video about all of them
Sounds good :D
Bro that's amazing, I have huge hope for your game :)
Honestly i completely forgot this game existed
But can it launch our Lord and Saviour Gerald, Destroyer of Dancefloors?
Does death work yet?
yes
The trebuchet is my favorite siege tool.

This comment describes it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Unity3D/comments/f8vomv/finally_got_stability_working_with_my_building/fiof0ot/
Is this still under development?
Yes!
Oh sweet, the subreddit went kinda dark so I was just wondering. Good to hear
