As a life long husky we had been using “Dawgs” since I was born in 92. I had some UW baby apparel from my when my aunts attended school there and it had a print that said something like “Welcome to the Dawg house” and the W was shaped like the old W logo Washington used in the 90s/2000s.
Then in high school (2007-2011) had a sweatshirt that just said “Dawgs.” Left that at an airport my senior year though. Was my favorite hoodie at the time due to how comfy it was; made me quite sad.
Remember when the Utes had Urban Myer and then lost him to Florida where he went on to win national championships? I’m seeing a repeat happening all over again
