That's just semantics. It doesn't matter how you call it, this one absolutely does have a really strong extract flavour that a lot of people find gross (me included).
Most of the others actually taste like chilis, this one taste more like a concentrate. Got a lot of heat though but the flavor is just beneath the others for me.
I just opened a bottle of this sauce today. It tastes good, not nearly as hot as I thought it would be. Good pepper taste. A little rough edges, not as smooth as aged peppers. Plenty of spicy flavor.
I love El Yucateco. The red/green habenero are my favorites. But this one is too much. Its hot. I cant eat it. The ghost pepper upsets my stomach. Reapers do

with it. That shit is delicious. Got cocky with it and ate too much. Absolutely wrecked my stomach.
This one uses extract for some odd reason. It’s not bad, but not great. In fact, of all the new ones they made over the past few years, I don’t love any of them other than the marisqueras.
I love the flavor of this, it is not a repeat of any other Yuke and it is hot.

I got in trouble with it in a taco bowl I made. It was fucking delicious but I lit myself UP.

It's pretty hot but I prefer the flavor of XXX much more.
XXX is awesome, I use some of that and the chipotle yucateco mixed with sour cream for dipping chips sometimes, aside from normal hot sauce uses.
Oh yeah, xxx is all i buy any more (from yucateco atleast).

It's worth the buy, I've heard people say it tastes like extract but I didn't really get that.

It’s true for me. I couldn’t even get halfway through the bottle before I tossed it. The extract taste is too strong

I love spicy food but my favorite one is actually the Habanero & Chiltepin. The flavor is delicious.
I haven't found that one. Seems the only ones I regularly see are green, red, black and XXX. I love the red

This is my favorite of theirs and in my regular rotation
I always look for the ones without onions. The red sauce made of tomato and habanero is my fav so far. I think that’s the ‘regular’ one..?
