Well, my backup player finally arrived, since the main one got stuck somewhere at the border along with hundreds of other parcels from China.

At least the earphones managed to get here on time.

The player itself is pretty decent: it's light, small (about the size of an IQOS stick pack), sounds good, just a bit laggy, but nothing critical.

But the earphones, maaan... they're insane - starting from the bundle, with stuff like a car air freshener and a little mirror, and ending with the size and the sound. The sound is amazing! The vocals are super clean, expressive and detailed, and in Depeche Mode tracks there are effects I'd never even noticed before. The bass is flat and controlled, no overkill, and I really got that feeling of enjoying music all over again.

Now I'm waiting for the main Android player (Fiio JM21) - the earphones will probably shine even more with it.

And yeah, it's been a while since I had this kind of nerdy hassle with music: find it, download it, clean out the junk, throw it on the SD card. But there's something about it, something old-school and nice.
