Hi friends, it's just my husband and I at home and we both have to work on Christmas Eve. Additionally I'm recovering from surgery so I'm trying to keep things easy breezy.
I would love some ideas for an easy, comforting Christmas Eve crock pot meal for two. Only restriction is no beef, and we don't care for Italian sausage.

My dad and I are going to 8pm mass. We get home around midnight and we are having pulled pork sliders with slaw on them and waffle fries. We are so looking forward to it.
Not slow cooker but a rotisserie chicken served with mashed potatoes and your favorite veggies is always a comforting meal.

1-2 lbs chicken thighs. One jar salsa any type. 2.5-3 hrs on high. Break up chicken and plop on a tortilla with some shredded cheese/sour cream/avocado or just in a bowl and dip chips.

We're baking a ham for tomorrow then Christmas Day - scalloped ham and potatoes/onions/cheddar cheese/cream of celery/mushroom/broccoli/etc (2 15 oz cans)in slow cooker 4-6 high or 8-10 low.
