Anyone got a good recipe for this?

O found someone mentioned beef boulion packet, stick of butter, ranch packet (not a fan) and carrots/potatoes, and no liquid?! Also a small stick or a big stock? Didn't say.

Ive tried potatoes in a slow cooker before, but they were practically raw with no liquid​​.

So if anyone has a good recipe please share.

  • The thing youre talking about is a "mississippi roast". 1 packet Au Jus, 1 packet ranch, 1 stick butter, and 6-8 pepperoncini. High 6-8 hrs, low 10-12. I always throw a head of garlic and some onion in mine too. No need for liquid. Roast and butter produce plenty. You can add whatever veggies you like. I prefer to just do my meat in this as its pretty salty and can over power if EVERYTHING is cooked in the juices.

    Well I didn't mean that exact recipe, but if anyone has others. 

    Don't like ranch myself and not everyone here likes peppers, or do they just add flavor and not much spiciness?

    Only veggie I was thinking of adding was carrots. As I plan to put mini potatoes cut into wedges in the air fryer, and steam the broccoli and green beans. 

    Also, is 1 stick of butter a half cup?
