Christmas Eve we're doing a movie marathon and I thought it might be nice to have 3 different things in here for munching on through the day so i don't have to cook or do much that day. What 3 things would you put in here?
My friend does this! She makes a "taco bar" and puts the meat in these. It's usually ground beef, ground turkey, and chicken, one in each. She makes a great taco bar. It's my favorite thing.
Are they crockpots or is it a triple heated serving bowls? Cus i have one and its not for cooking, great for putting in stews to keep warm for serving for guests.
It's an actual crock pot! They were selling it at my local Costco. I was tempted to buy it but the individual pots are a bit small so it limits what I can make in it.
I think each pot is 1.5 quarts. Can actually cook in it like a regular slow cooker. But I will say at that size you're cooking 2--4 servings of a meat dish in one. I have a 2 qt oval slow cooker I've been able to put 3-4 frozen/fresh chicken breasts in it, depending on size.
No bean chili, Cheese, beans. Bag of chips. Cold toppings include black olives, peppers, avocado, tomatoes, onions/chives.
Step two, invite friends over.
I did a fondue thing: cheese in one, hot oil in the second, and a chocolate fondue in the third one. I served meats, bread, fruit, marshmallows. It was a fun night with friends :)
Tip: spray slow cooker with cooking oil first to keep from cheese sticking to the sides even if you use slow cooker bags.
BBQ Baked beans (Bushes or Great value baked beans, bbq sauce frozen diced onions, frozen diced bell pepper - time saver) slimmed down version without added meat.
I have two of these and use them to keep sides and gravy warm on the holidays. But I agree with the dips comments. Make 3 different dips. I think that would be the best use for a movie night.
Bbq meatballs and buffalo chicken dip are our 2 mainstays. We rotate the third dish: Little smokies, queso, spinach artichoke dip,
Etc. Bought one a decade ago and love it. Perfect for entertaining and what we call the “holiday trifecta”
Everything. I made a spaghetti squash and 3 bean chili in mine yesterday and brunswick stew the day before. I use mine all winter. With 3 different ones you can slow cook extra ingredients for those who like spice or a specific ingredient to add
For Thanksgiving, I put mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and gravy in them. For Christmas, I'm going to put roasted honey rainbow carrots, sautéed green beans, and au jus for the beef in them. This thing is a godsend for holidays or get togethers or anytime you need to keep stuff warm.
You could do something like meatballs and the grape jelly/barbecue sauce , dips that need to stay warm, pigs in a blanket...
I have one of those sitting in a back cabinet, I'm going to give it away after seeing this. Someone else needs it more than me. I only used it once. Ty God Speed...
I have a tripe slow cooker and it’s the absolute best! I use the first 2 for dinner and the last one for dessert. Taking Twins has some amazing slow cooker recipes. The sticky toffee pudding is so easy and comes out perfect every time
I use it for soups, or when I bring stuff to a party for a taco bar (ground beef taco meat, refried beans and rice), or dips that need to stay warm and then just put chips in the middle crock without turning the heat on.. so many uses!
This is amazing.. are they all miniature? I think the dip options have been covered at length, but also regular meal stations with the components laid out
I have one of these. With a 3 person household, I often use it to make a mini version of anything I normally cook in the crockpot. It’s also great for parties, putting dips in.
I have the exact same crockpot trio, and make three different kinds of cocktail meatballs in them. One with orange marmalade and barbecue sauce. A spicy meatball and another with Jezebel sauce.
Tiny smokies sausages in BBQ sauce, Rotel queso, and Sausage balls. I used mine when I was doing tacos for guests - beef fajitas, chicken fajitas, picadillo or grilled peppers/onions.
We have that and it’s so great for holidays. We put our cooked side dishes i.e. stuffing/mashed potatoes etc. in it to keep warm while using the oven for the mains.
Christmas at my house I use it for Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, and Harvard beets. Those crocks are smaller than normal and those are the less popular sides.
Buffalo chicken dip, pulled pork(i recommend the recipes that use mexican bottles coke), and spinach artichoke dip.
The holy trinity of being invited back
Oh man, I can’t do buffalo chicken dip. There’s something about the spice, meat, and creamy texture that my stomach doesn’t like.
ok
You dare be apathetic to JasonZep’e tummy distress? You dare???
That's unfortunate 😔 I have a friend with some weird allergies that make some delicious things almost deadly and it's frustrating to say the least
Weird that you're getting downvoted for agida
You know tagamet can solve a lot of those problems
Taco/nacho bar! One would have the queso, one for the grilled onions and peppers and one for shredded meat.
I use ours for nacho buffet but we do meat, refried beans and nachos cheese
You’ve demonstrated why two of these three pot slow cookers at a nacho bar would be awesome.
I used mine for a nacho bar too. I had queso, beans, and beef.
My friend does this! She makes a "taco bar" and puts the meat in these. It's usually ground beef, ground turkey, and chicken, one in each. She makes a great taco bar. It's my favorite thing.
Or the Three A-meatgos chicken/chorizo, ground beef/taco seasoning and barbacoa. Queso in a separate pot
Nacho cheese dip, pizza cheese dip, chicken cheese dip
Put your hand up on my hip.....
I dip, you dip, we dip!
Hell ya we do.
My heart quit, you quit
Are they crockpots or is it a triple heated serving bowls? Cus i have one and its not for cooking, great for putting in stews to keep warm for serving for guests.
Think its only a warmer.
I have one like this and each dishes cooks on its own like a full crockpot.
it has three dials...
My mom has something like this with multiple dials and it's definitely not for cooking in lol
It's this slow cooker
One for each pot….On/ Off
It's an actual crock pot! They were selling it at my local Costco. I was tempted to buy it but the individual pots are a bit small so it limits what I can make in it.
I was concerned too about size. Ended up buying a decade ago. Love it. It’s more space than you realize.
Good to know! They're still on sale so I may swing by and pick one up next week.
Just divide the big recipe into thirds or make a protein and two sides
I have one that has 3 separate little crock pots. It's not like I cook full on beef stew in it or anything but it's more than just a warmer.
Mine is three actual slow cookers. It was great for entertaining but we haven’t used it in years.
Hahahaha, "crackpot"
Go for the Breaking Bad Favorite Recipes cookbook lol
crack is whack !!
Conspiracies. Put conspiracies in the crackpots.

We just made the meatballs, chili sauce and grape jelly. Omg it is so good. Reading this I legit can’t wait to eat leftovers it tomorrow haha
Next time you make them, swap the grape jelly for cranberry sauce in the can. Amazing!
I have one of those. I use it for curries. 2 different ones and the middle is rice.
I have this exact crockpot. It only gets used on holidays and birthdays for appetizers!

Here’s a great pretzel dip recipe that I make in my crockpot all the time:
8oz cream cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
7 to 10 oz canned chicken breast meat
1 jar salsa verde
8oz bag of shredded cheddar jack
Put it all in the pot, heat it until all the cheese melts, stir
No bean chili, Cheese, beans. Bag of chips. Cold toppings include black olives, peppers, avocado, tomatoes, onions/chives. Step two, invite friends over.
Steak/pork/chicken for tacos
I avoid crackpots. They’re trouble. Wfh has been a boon.
I did a fondue thing: cheese in one, hot oil in the second, and a chocolate fondue in the third one. I served meats, bread, fruit, marshmallows. It was a fun night with friends :)
Chicken or pork shoulder (shredded) for sliders. Rolls on the side
Cheese dip (Rotel diced tomatoes and Velveeta, optional cooked crumbled breakfast sausage) tortilla chips
Tip: spray slow cooker with cooking oil first to keep from cheese sticking to the sides even if you use slow cooker bags.
BBQ meatballs, buffalo chicken dip, pot roast
Slow cooker Mac and cheese 3 ways. Plain, Lobster and Bacon.
Alternatively, maybe for a different night…Taco Bar - chicken salsa verde, carnitas, shredded beef / birria
3 Soups, 3 Chilies, or 3 curries
3 Fondue - cheese, broth, chocolate with accompaniments and dippers for all.
Three types of taco fillings for a taco bar?
I've found that having crackpots in the kitchen is distracting because they are usually very annoying.
I have two of these and use them to keep sides and gravy warm on the holidays. But I agree with the dips comments. Make 3 different dips. I think that would be the best use for a movie night.
I’d put meat in one and roast potatoes in one and then maybe a dip for an appetizer. 3 courses!
Chile cheese dog buffet
Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes.
Buffalo chicken dip, meat/queso dip, meatballs
Bbq meatballs and buffalo chicken dip are our 2 mainstays. We rotate the third dish: Little smokies, queso, spinach artichoke dip, Etc. Bought one a decade ago and love it. Perfect for entertaining and what we call the “holiday trifecta”

I have the same exact one and it’s great for when you’re hosting.

I use it for soups, or when I bring stuff to a party for a taco bar (ground beef taco meat, refried beans and rice), or dips that need to stay warm and then just put chips in the middle crock without turning the heat on.. so many uses!

Just be sure, those are all 3 crock pots? Because there are some warmers that look like that.
But their purpose is to keep foods warm and dont have any actual cooking purposes.
