The mop wrens are so cute it makes me sick. I live somewhere it gets so cold that Carolina Wrens regularly die off in the winter and recolonize in the spring. I just want them all to be this safe and warm 😭
They seem to do fine all winter in my area of SE Pennsylvania so I bet they're generally fine down there. Guessing this is only an issue for the north end of their range, like areas that get lake effect weather from the Great Lakes.
Not a repost.. it literally says “the most recent picture” they sleep in that spot every night so as you can imagine the view is very similar every time I take a pic. Maybe their cute little tail feathers are angled differently. That’s about it.

YES! You get it. I make everyone be quiet when they walk inside bc that right outside of the side door that we use. Also, I bought a new mop! Lol
