I appreciate that, a lot! It’s crazy you said this because I was exclusively planning to do that ride during the daytime lol. So that’s a wonderful pro tip you’ve given me. Looks like I’ll schedule it to straddle sunset in this case!
The smell of sewage and rotting garbage was pretty extreme. Apparently they are wayyyyy outdated in their sewer maintenance and throughout and lots of waste goes right into the ocean. Whennit rains the smell is awful too. Reminds me of my hometown!
Let’s just say I know very little, if anything at all, about civil engineering, municipal codes in Busan, S. Korean environmental policy, land use and zoning laws in that region and have never been there before and only could name Seoul as a major city, but would take a minute to locate it on a map….
Is there a reason those hills are not visibly developed?
Wow very interesting layout
It has a similar population size to Madrid. Both in administrative districts and metro areas.
Let's see for how long
Is there any app to view Korean skylines in 3d? Like Google or Apple maps with flyover or similar?
Maybe try Kakao map or Naver map
You can use Google Maps in a 3D mode on browser. Also, Google Earth.
Korea is not mapped there
search smap(에스맵)
I would love to ride in a cab from one end of this picture to the other
Make sure to try it at night. Truly a city of stars. The way the city crawls up the hills gives the illusion of being deep in a galaxy.

It's beautiful. Especially crossing over multiple bridges and seeing the landscape changing is magical.
I shall take the train there.
Im always beaten to these puns.
Where are the zombies?
Looks like a city in a sea of mountains.
I wonder if there are any roads up to look out points in those hills
Edit: yeah there are and it looks p cool

Not much in the way of skyscrapers but they do have the world largest department store there. I thought the beach was pretty nice too.
Busan has 4 supertalls
Wow. Looks like an interesting place.
Amazing 👏

it looks redacted
It's like someone extruded the textures.
Reminds me alot of rio with the mtns and urban areas between all hugging the coastline. Beautiful!
I was there last month , not easy to use public transportation and very dispersed. I prefer Seoul, at least as a tourist.
Are they still doing the plastic token things?
Rio De Janeiro vibes

Yep, this picture sent me through a nice wormhole.
I survived a train to Busan
When the next train starts there?
I squinted bc I thought it’s one of the ai blended pics
BUSAN IS GOOD!
