I was doing the dark brotherhood quest to assassinate Vitoria Vicci at her wedding and normally I’d just snipe her with an arrow or drop the gargoyle statue on her head. But this time I wanted to do something different, something with more panache. So I hit her new husband with Nightingale Subterfuge and had him kill her.
Truly evil. Bravo!

To be fair, I think Jiub is a pretty cool guy. Eh kills Cliff Racers and doesn't afraid of anything. :P
Pretty sure that was done because everyone hated cliffracers. They would clip in place to a tree or something and be a nuisance to deal with because the games engine couldn't really work with things like that. They were really annoying, lvl 3 so you could kill them easy enough, thry were an infuriating nussance. Then old internet people ranted about them so much some mods came out removing them from the game and crediting juib for "ruthlessly and mercilessly hunting them to extinction" he was one of the few voiced characters in the game (modding was easy with everything text based. Plus lots of reading to do anything, having to read vague descriptions to find anything). People got attached to him wanting to know what happened to him after you left the boat with a guard. I recall it started as player mods, then became an official mod like that atoll full of skeletons mission, then was official cannon when refrenced as rumors in oblivion.
Better than troll mods making cliff racers lvl 100 mages that blast you with high lvl spells. Some troll hacked that into more popular mods to mess with people.
My favorite is usually a Frenzy poison to the bride's pocket. Then see who does a hilarious weapon finisher to her. (I'll quicksave before and reload several times for different results.)
Of course her husband is the likely winner. But fairly often, he'll keep blocking while she's wailing on him, which allows any one in the audience to run up and kill her themselves.
One second, the Bride is giving her speech. A few seconds later, could be Noster Eagle-Eye saying "Looks like it's all clear." after his dagger finisher to the bride.
I thought about doing a bit of reverse pickpocketing but my skill in pickpocketing is not that high so I wasn’t confident on its success.
Hide on the little roof with a scroll of Mayhem and watch the chaos....
But that would be….madness I say!

One of these days, I just want to Vampire Lord out on all the DB killings. Transforming away from prying eyes to maintain my cover, but being very public and open with the “assassinations”.
You could also do the same thing with the werewolf transformation.
One of my currents is an Orc barbarian werewolf who's favored method for assassinations is this precisely. No need for all that skulking around, behavior unbecoming of an Orc; she just wolfs out someplace discreet, charges in, rips out the poor bastard's throat and gets outta dodge.

I’ve been wanting to do an illusion based character. But I always seem to fall back on stealth archer and conjuration.. or both.
It takes willpower to do a restricted build run, but after nearly 15 years I've had the willpower to do it 3 or 4 times without becoming a stealth archer 😂
The stealth archer is so addicting. Once you go stealth archer you never go back
Unless you want to easy mode the whole game and just go 2-handed

Yup. It's basically cheesing the game. Two handed heavy armor just walks through all scenarios unless you seriously bump the difficulty
Watching enemies kill each other in frenzy will never not be entertaining.
I like to get my destruction to 40 so I can get the rune mater perk and cast frenzy rune on the door behind them. Does the same thing without having to go through the TG quest.
There is a frenzy rune?
You get it from Neloth's apprentice on Solstheim, after you save him from the ash guardian he conjures but cannot control. He's also the only merchant that will sell you the bound dagger tome.

You can shoot her husband with a practice arrow (only a few in the game. They do no damage) but laced with a frenzy poison.
He goes crazy and attacks. Potentially killing her.
You can turn into a werewolf behind the stone slabs.
So long as no one (sees) you transforn you can go on a rampage. Get away fron people and transfer back to your normal form.

They are a base vanilla item.
The best place for practice arrows in Skyrim is Angi's Camp, located in the mountains southeast of Falkreath, where Angi offers free Archery training and gives you practice arrows for a unique target mini-game that can raise your skill by six points. You can find extra practice arrows scattered around her shooting range and, after training, she gives you her unique bow.

I basically kill all of my targets with some form of fury spell, you just need one good stealth hit and have all the justification (and help) to kill them

Yeah it’s on the upper deck of the balcony she gives her speech from. My problem is actually figuring out how to get up there.
I won't be going the dark brotherhood route on my current playthrough, but on the next one I will certainly experience something new
