This is my feeling as well.Ā But it's more than the physical space.Ā There are enough physical containers in Breezehome to organize everything a dragon born could want.
Inside the door on the left are two sacks on the bottom shelf of the bookcase; one for ores/ingots and the other for weapons and armor you want to improve.Ā
Just ahead to the right is a table/cabinet where you can store all the things you want to sell (like improved armors and weapons).
Going back to the bookshelf at the door, you have shelves to set things, like whatever.
Just past the weapons rack on the left is a regular bookshelf where you can begin your book collection.
A bit further ahead on the left is a sack high up on a shelf.Ā As I clean out all the other storage places of their trash, I put it all in this sack up on the shelf.Ā Ā
There is another sack on the floor.Ā You can fill that with cheese, brooms, whatever mundane thing you want to collect.
Further in under the stairs is a barrel.Ā I put all the ale bottles I collect in that barrel, except for the ones I leave out on the table.
Past this is the China cabinet with shelves and the storage drawer.Ā I place all the dishes I collect (only fine pewter dishes) inside and Dwarven dishes on the shelves.
On the right in the back is the alchemy room.Ā On the alchemy table I place all my alchemy ingredients in the bag.Ā In the chest I place all the potions I don't want to carry ATM.Ā And then there is the second real bookshelf where you can add to your book collection.
Upstairs you have the huscarls room, which I generally leave alone.
Outside that is the weapon rack and chest.Ā I usually put weapons there I don't want to sell but collect.
Turning toward the bedroom, there is a table on the left you can store stuff in.Ā I put soul gems in that table.Ā I'm always buying every sould gem I can find so I have more than I can carry, and when they are filled, I store them in this table too.
There's more in the bedroom.Ā Storage for clothes, keepsakes, books and gems.Ā I usually have three instruments upstairs and downstairs sitting out where you can see them.Ā And there is a weapons rack in your bedroom and right over the front door.
Itās my storage house. When I was a teen, I had every damn cabinet and chest for a specific item. One cabinet next to the door to the bedroom was for ores and ingots.
The love shack is a little old place where
We can get together
Love shack, baby
Love shack, baby
Love shack, that's where it's at
Love shack, that's where it's at
Huggin' and a-kissin', dancin' and a-lovin'
Wearin' next to nothing 'cause it's hot as an oven
The whole shack shimmies
Yeah the whole shack shimmies
The whole shack shimmies when everybody's movin' around
And around and around and around
Everybody's movin', everybody's groovin' baby
Folks linin' up outside just to get down
Everybody's movin', everybody's groovin' baby
Funky little shack
Funky little shack
The cultists body is the dedicated dragon bone storage at whiterun, fast travel, body stays at front gates, drop your dragon bones into his inventory, then stop at breezehome and drop off the rest
What cultist? I havenāt played since 2023 sometime. August? September? I must be missing something. Is that new? I never noticed any body there. Sounds convenient! You donāt have to worry about overburdening a corpse. Perfect!
I didnāt quit playing to philander with some other open world game. Iāve been kinda sick and stuck in bed with breaks in between, but whatās the point of moving out of the bedroom now? Iāve got just about everything moved in here. Iām only missing my Xbox. I got a series X. Itās still in the box. Somewheres. I suppose I should go find it. I shouldāve Apple tagged that sheeeit.
lol I get that, but there really isn't much storage there. So many other homes have so much more. This is the most convenient, especially early in the vanilla game
Thatās a fair point, plus the giants donāt attack this place. Nothing does. Itās totally safe and you donāt come home to dead bodies or dead farm animals.
I think my first (or one of my first) play throughs I only used a single chest in the house for everything. It was such a crazy chest man. Just an endless pit of everything. Took like minutes to scroll through it all
I found a house on the steam workshop that was along the lake in the Rift - that was my first Skyrim house because I couldn't afford Breezehome at the time.
Even though I probably could've just added money via the console at the time...
Literally the coziest home. Whiterun feels like home already, and itās the house I always rush in order to get Lucia off the street. In character, itās a better place to live than Lakeview, since it lets the kids āgrow upā (ha!) in a community and interact with other children their (unchanging) age. Also, you know what happens to people who live alone in the wilds in Skyrim. They die of some poison or something, or Falmer tunnel into their basement.
Quaint
Literally the first word I thought of before opening the comments. That's precisely what it is.
How about EZ-Breezy-Lemon-Peezy
Compared to Lakeview Manor? That's an understatement š ive played a million times since it came out and still have never finished that bitch.
š¤Ŗš
Also, COVERGIRL
Thats the perfect word to describe it.
This post was in my fyp and my first thought was literally this, lol.
Beat me to it lol
I imagine a spoiled high elf walking in and they're lowkey mortified but they want to be polite "how quaint..."
Bigger on the inside
I would say about 1/4 bigger
Tardis

There's a wealth of storage in Breezehome.
I always have it but never use it.
Idk why but I just swear by the Falkreath homestead
No matter what house I try and make a home for my family in, we always end up back at Lakeview Manor.
I really wish it didnāt get attacked so much because itās so perfect and the kids love it.
I spent 25k on that big mansion in Solitude, took a look around, and sent my wife and kids back to Lakview Manor.
You don't buy the solitude mansion to stay in you buy it for the crystal lol.
I donāt use drugs.
Itās my storage house. When I was a teen, I had every damn cabinet and chest for a specific item. One cabinet next to the door to the bedroom was for ores and ingots.
If you think that's retentive, there's 10 different ores and ten safes in the basement forge. I used a different one per ore.
I just carry my 5000 ingots and cheese wheels.
We all have a spots where we just need to let it out, I swear in the walk in fridge at work sometimes
It's my Shout House.
I just go and shout
Until AE, my main "base" was Heljarchen Hall, my family would stay at Lakeview Manor, and my "collections" and garden would be at Windstad Manor.
With AE, Bloodchill manor is my HQ.
Honestly my least favorite of the Hearthfire homes. But so much more convenient than Morthal and easier to get than Hjeliarchen
Cozy
Lydia
Exactly itās her home.
Its the cheese house
Open the door, throw cheese on the floor, close the door
Like the ball pit at McDonald's but with cheese

You're WHAT?!
Tiiiiiiiin roof, rusted
Swoooooorn burdens, carried!
Stop yelling, calm down, deep breaths.
It's fine.
(I'm not being insulting, I promise)
It's right there - Breeze"Home"
Home, my real home
Of all the homes in Skyrim, it is one of them.
Storage Locker
What storage?
Dragon bones due to muscle memory fast travelling to Whiterun after every quest to drop or sell loot
The cultists body is the dedicated dragon bone storage at whiterun, fast travel, body stays at front gates, drop your dragon bones into his inventory, then stop at breezehome and drop off the rest
This made me laugh. Every time I come back to Whiterun and the kids shriek at a dead body I wonder when itāll despawn
āHelgen survivorā? Dayam! Thatās hilarious!!
What cultist? I havenāt played since 2023 sometime. August? September? I must be missing something. Is that new? I never noticed any body there. Sounds convenient! You donāt have to worry about overburdening a corpse. Perfect!

Golden Plantation edged out Breezehome for convenience.
I love playing Sims in Skyrim so itās usually home for a good bit lol
Starter Home.
I love breezehome
Smells better than sleeping in Jorvasskar
Oh fr you just know the welp room STANKS
Itās sworn to carry my burdens (that i donāt need and forget about late game after I use this place solely for the Ohgma Infinium glitch)
You mean the one that got patched in like 2013?
Better with mods
Free (iykyk)
Get out of the way Lydia!
Children. This is honestly the best house to raise a child in relative safety and zero boredom for them due to many child npcs here.
Thatās a fair point, plus the giants donāt attack this place. Nothing does. Itās totally safe and you donāt come home to dead bodies or dead farm animals.
That's the location for Dragonborn's Stolen Tag Removal
(Not open to the public. Uthgerd the Unbroken, Illia and Serana are current employees.)
My quaint beginnings when I was just a baby.
Lydia would rather hangout in your room.
I think my first (or one of my first) play throughs I only used a single chest in the house for everything. It was such a crazy chest man. Just an endless pit of everything. Took like minutes to scroll through it all

Everyone here saying cozy is lying, as if you don't have a second place somewhere else :P you outgrew it almost immediately, admit it.
I didn't even start with it.
