I was working at a pharmacy a month ago, and i was speaking with my coworker until she brought up height. She asked me my height and i told her im 5’3 and she said she is 5’0, THEN she told me she feels SO bad for her son who is 17 and 5’8. I asked why and she said because her husband he 5’10 and her son is short. I just stayed quiet and left work that day, if she felt bad for the 5’8 son then what am i. No comment

Nah best case is to act like it doesn’t bother you or act like you’re too dumb to catch on that’s typically what I do, If you call it out you’ll look crazy since it was said in a passive context they can always quickly retract it.
