What exactly do they think was cut? And do they not realize that most of the time when something is cut it is because it isn’t necessary and is actually dragging it down? A lot of the time it is the director/showrunner making the cut. It IS their vision.

They're a lot more defensive of criticism as if they made the media in question.
Well, what’s crazy to me is that the season is actually pretty good and people still complain like it’s god awful. I’m not saying it’s perfect, but the way some people talk about it you’d think it’s the worst season of television ever.
Yes it's been happening lately more and more, if the fans are disappointed or whatever, they demand to release the (probably non-existent) complete version of whatever they're watching.
It's happened with the Snydercut, the Suicide Squad original movie cut. People demanding Kendrick Lamar to release a second album after DAMN. that was NEVER announced nor hinted at but somehow fans gaslit themselves into thinking it exists.
It's just amazing to see people just a keyboard away from making fanfiction, but they will not do it because they just want to CONSUME media, not create it.
Because new fans of TV shows or movies think that if a character has only been in heterosexual relationships for ten years, but has not publicly and verbally stated that he is straight and not gay, then he is probably gay.
Over a ship the showrunner actively queerbaited them with. There is no queerbait here when one side of the ship has been in love with a girl since season 1. These people are much dumber.
Even if there is anything cut, it’s not gonna save anything. The main issues are the writing and how big the cast has gotten. There are too many characters now, and the focus is on the wrong stuff. The plot has went in all the wrong directions, and to fix it you’d need to restart season 5
It’s the pacing, over explanation of every plot point (see: Netflix’s new mandate for writers), and forced conclusion. This show has gone on too long and still feels rushed to end.
The characters have all fundamentally changed not in service of the story… the actors just seem bored. It certainly weird how the quality of the show has simply just dropped.
