Seems like Doom is gonna tell the Avengers some BS that the X-Men are going to destroy their universe unless they act first, leading to a Avengers vs X-Men conflict being started by Doom while he enacts his other plans in the background.
Not always, but I mean the set leak is literally pictures from this very scene. You can literally see Sentinels in the set leak. Multiple reliable leakers have said it’s Doom who uses them against the X-Men. So I’m inclined to believe that yeah, these specific leaks are real
What will probably happen is I will resist until it's about to leave theaters and X-Men will pull me in like a black hole because goddammit I love X-Men.

Curious, is the xmen 97' show on disney plus good in your opinion? Ive heard people generally say they like it. I enjoyed about half the xmen fox films, so I didnt know if its more respectful to the source material or not
I haven't seen it because I don't have Disney +, nor have I tracked it down. However, I've heard from people who grew up on the X-Men cartoon that it is solid.

They already had everything mostly planned out for where to go before the FOX merger,and while things changed and the FF got to be there,mutants were too big to just be introduced outside of minor mentions. Plus,I don’t know if this is true,but I remember hearing that they couldn’t recast the X-Men until after 2025,so that could be another reason.
how does he measure up in the grand scale of marvel power scaling?
His optic blasts are strong, but not that strong. Like, he's not a cosmic level character or anything. Plenty of X-Men are more powerful than him. But Scott's one of the best strategic minds in the Marvel universe, so he's dangerous and respected even without powers.
On the scale of Mutants, he's Alpha-Level (iirc) which is just one level below Omega-Level which is pretty much all mutants where their powers have no upper limit, Cyke is strong because his body pretty much takes in all energy around him (mainly solar iirc) and redistributes it into his optic blasts, but he has a limit for how much energy he can charge up which is why he's not Omega.
This goes without mentioning he's up there with Black Panther and Captain America as one of the best tacticians on Earth (seriously the man has back up plans for his back up plans) and no slouch in hand to hand combat having gone toe to toe with characters like Captain America and solo'ed the Giant-Size X-Men (Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Thunderbird, Banshee and Sunfire) in the FCBD Giant Size X-Men Teaser
(Yes I'm a nerd and yes Cyclops is my favourite Marvel character along with Daredevil)
Wait, they're bringing the xmen into the MCU? I guess Disney did buy fox and get the rights back but had just been waiting for the existing film series to play

X-Men 97 is great because they adapted most of the best or well known X-Men comics. It had stakes and great pacing.
