I got the game on sale not knowing any of the drama. What's the tea? I found it alright. No where near dark souls or lies of P level but a 3.5/5, play if you like souls likes game.
Ah I see. Damn that's unfortunate The devs do seem to care about the game, trying to keep it updated. It sucks the CEO is shitty. Doesn't necessarily mean you should avoid the game entirely, a lot of people I'm sure from all walks of life worked on it. But if you don't want to play it, that makes sense. I wish more CEO's were like Gaben and Miyazaki, who just created things out of love for their industry rather than grifters, but we live in 2025.
After having played 2 playthroughs I'd argue the game is interesting on many aspects, notably the art direction and most bosses are pretty cool, with some being straight up awesome. However, a lot of aspects of game design are actually idiotic, from weapon movesets to pvp design, unfair (but like not the fun type of unfair) ennemy placement, to weird people pleasing regarding patches. What i mean by the latter is for example they removed the classic "early near unbeatable boss encounter that's part of the tutorial" because people complained about it. Then people complained it got removed so they added it again.
To exemplify my opinion on this game : they "fixed" the character creator by switching genders from a/b to male/female, because lots of gamers found it too woke. However the character creator is broken and nearly unusable, with sliders barely working. But they didn't think it important to fix that. I'd argue they suffer from people pleasing and lack of overall game design vision.
I was willing to give the actual dev team the benefit of the doubt over the larger company just having a shithead CEO, but the asmongold comments actually came up in a behind the scenes video series they did with the devs, and the comments were about how he has a lot of followers and clearly must be on to something and they as a studio need to listen to fans and like. So, okay, I genuinely enjoyed LotF, thought the exploration-feel and level design were very well thought out and satisfying to dive through and fight in, but it's biggest flaw IMO is that even with all the design flair and aesthetic coolness it's packing, it cannot think of anything interesting for its world to say or be. The big conflict of gods and zealots boils down to gestures at stock fantasy images about man has free will but man do bad so free will bad?? and what if big void that eats everything and has cultists. And church is strict and kills nonbelievers. I cannot for the life of me think of a single interesting question the world prompts out of me, which is bad! Because so much of the appeal of souls-inheritor exploration design is feeling a tangible and physical connection to a game's world, curiosity, emotion, investment, all that.
And I think that snowballs with the kind of reactionary hard-right fandom culture Asmongold represents, not just oh the LotF devs are breaking bread with an obviously a shitty person, but they're listening to someone with a kneejerk sense of ownership over games, and a hostility towards surprise or discomfort in art, because it challenges that sense of ownership. And while it's often worthwhile in general to listen to your audience's reactions and feelings, what meaningful art could you possibly make if that's your weathervane?
This isn't just a LotF/Asmongold thing, sadly. Otherwise well-meaning dev teams listen to shitty people all the time. Another example of this was catering Destiny 2 to the esports crowd, which torpedoed the power fantasy that the original had. We live in the era of always-online, but devs unfortunately just use it to push MTX instead of making their games better via in-game surveys available to all players.
Do they actually listen to asmongold of all the people? That's sad. Personally i have enjoyed lords of the fallen, and i might buy the second one, but i didn’t realise the CEO was like thay.
I was willing to give the actual dev team the benefit of the doubt over the larger company just having a shithead CEO, but the asmongold comments actually came up in a behind the scenes video series they did with the devs, and the comments were about how he has a lot of followers and clearly must be on to something and they as a studio need to listen to fans and like
Well i mean...sadly he is one of the most influential (i guess) american streamer, so them taking his """""critics""""" as stuff to follow, while dumb is somewhat understandable. Still would have prefered them listening to another streamer like penguinz0 (did he play the game) Like, i don’t think it’s gonna make me drop the idea of buying the second game except if they actively push the type of shits asmon promotes. Idk maybe i am too naive and i don’t realise how bad this is, my english comprehension can be limited.
As for the lore i don’t hate it, it’s not amazing but i think specifically the bosses have very cool lore. The "pursuer" type boss in particular is not only an S tier boss, i really like his lore, despite it being rather simple.
Still a flawed game, and while it improved upon a lot of things as time went on, i really hope the second game will be good right from the start.
Ok the CEO apparently supported german n*zis....yeah this guy 100% sucks.
The devs do seem to care about the game, trying to keep it updated.
This is the business model of games like Star Citizen and No Man's Sky - release a shit game, and then try to earn browny points by releasing consistent updates.
If the selling points are "the devs care about the game" or "the devs didn't give up on the game" or "look at all the awesome stuff on the roadmap" and not "this game is fun to play" then imo you are getting played if you fall for it.
I used to think the right-wing was really into at least the idea of self-betterment but I suppose being an Asmongold sycophant immediately disproves that
In the wake of trump winning the election they did a cringe twitter poll where they asked if they should change their options from body type a/b to male/female and pretended like the thousands of responses from typical twitter users was their player base and that they had to follow the will of their fans. Really just culture war bs
They pulled some stunt a while back releasing "version 2" of the game and made a big deal about how they changed the "character type A and B" selection in the character creator to "male and female". Just making a huge deal out of something only a loud minority of people even cared about and catering explicitly to right wing players who thought the character creator was "woke".
Yeah I was gonna say, it doesnt even look like a soulslike at first glance but I was really interested because of those animations. Like they're so good that they might make me buy a game I usually wouldn't be interested in level of good haha.
Think the devs have said it won't be a soulslike. More like a DMC type action game, and I'm all the more excited for it. Pretty much every non-FromSoft game I've played that directly tries to copy the Souls formula (except LoP) has been pretty forgettable, whereas the ones that have done their own thing with combat, like Nioh and Khazan have been a lot better imo.
I haven’t played Nioh but have played Stranger of Paradise by Team Ninja and I want them to make another one of those, I love it so much I should try Nioh out cause I do have it idk how I got it but I do
Lowkey like as long as they actually innovate on the gameplay of the first it’ll prolly be good.
I played the first game at launch then again after the big 2.0 and my stance has been the same: it has a lot of really cool and interesting ideas in the souls genre but implemented poorly.
If they fix the implementation itll be good, and there is potential there so im at least optimistic.
I think the second first one? I really can’t keep track atp.
Can’t wait for the third fourth second lords of the fallen ten years from now after the second one drops rushed, then they release lords of the fallen 2 2 more times and then overhaul the third second game years after it releases in what is the third second LOTF game.
the aesthetics of the game are sick. like the armour and boss designs are cool as fuck (subjective, of course), even though most of the bosses had like 2 moves and were easy as piss. If they iterate and make bosses harded - not just sponges, but with some interesting moves and combos - this may be really good.
The game's almost certainly destined to be a dumpsterfire. CI games is notorious for rushing games out before they're ready and this Lords of the Fallen 2. LotF 2023 came out in such a horrid state that it took them TWO FUCKING YEARS to implement gear sorting. And we're led to believe that somehow, during these turbulent times and while committing resources to just trying to fix their previous game, they've somehow got an absolute banger ready for us next fucking year?
Moreover, they're advertising that this game is going to have limb dismemberment in place. Limb dismemberment adds a lot of moving pieces to a game formula that already had more than the average amount of moving pieces in Unreal Engine 5.
i like the LotF 2.0 in its current state, its good for a playthrough or 3. the PvP is absolute dogwater though. I really cannot see them having another game ready this quickly. It will almost certainly run like shit. If its good, I'll buy it.. my days of pre-ordering ANYTHING at all are long over though.
They've been saying "don't worry guys we're gonna fix it and make it actually good!" Since the very first game came out and they always use the "were using your feedback to make this the best game ever!" excuse to make shitty games because they tricked people into the "it's going to be really good this time!" cycle
Seriously Epic is only good for the amount of free games they give out, I got Alien Isolation, Subnautica and other games, god I love Into the Breach, aside from the free games everything else about Epic sucks lol.
Didn't the devs of this game remove "body type" from the character creation of the 1st game and brought back "male and female" to appeal to right wing twitter grifters after the game flopped?
I know, that's the one I was refering to. When I first played it, I got confused on what exactly it meant.
The localisation thing doesn't really make sense, since the entire game needs to be translated as well. If you truly want it to be clear, why not use silhouettes instead?
My main point is, instead of having to seperate body types, let me adjust how masculine/feminin/thin/thick/muscular/etc. my character is on a larger spectrum.
Of course that's going to be a lot more work to implement, but it's the only way to properly represent as many people as possible without causing some stupid arguments.
I tried listening to their dev podcast and the two tools they have on are literally going "Hey, say what you will about Asongold but he has a lot of followers and he'd been very vocal about hyping up the game prior to launch, and we were really paying attention to his thoughts on launch day."
They later pretty much fashion him as the voice in gaming they wanted to redeem the 2.0 version in the eyes of.
Well the game certainly didn’t flop. It rode off the high of Elden Ring and had pretty solid marketing. Pretty sure it sold 1 million copies fairly quickly. But yes, they did appeal to the right wing Twitter grifters.
Wow, everyone is parroting this and it’s kinda stupid. The devs heard some political opinions about the game, did a poll on twitter and the decision to change it to just saying male/female won, so they changed it. I see no problem with this.
Is the hate for it here genuine or a meme? I have 200 hours on it since 2.0 and it’s the second best Souls-like I’ve ever played and I’ve played two Souls-likes
Separate the art from the artists but there's so much good stuff with passion and effort that needs support that we really shouldn't give these guys our money
I'll die on this hill i liked the first one I thought it was pretty good, obviously not from soft quality but I liked it, feel free to ask why I'm to tired to explain rn
It has the same problem a lot of souls-likes have in that it’s not dark souls. Tries to imitate dark souls but doesn’t have the same level of fluidity Fromsoft is known for
They played it at launch or have never played it and are just echo-chambering.
If you like DS3 you will like LOTF. If you don’t then your brain needs studied because they’re extremely similar experiences.
IMO it stomps basically any non-fromsoft soulslike. Only really Lies of P comes close but Lies has shitty level design and I don’t vibe with the art style so much.
I think it actually does a lot of things better than dark souls. Visible poise bar, “ammunition” system for throwables and bows, multiple spells hotkeyed at any given time. Armor shaders. 2-stage God of War style dodge, Sekiro parry.
Not just Republican, he went on tirades supporting AfD (Germany's modern day Nazi party) on truth social at one point. The posts have been removed but yeah, no thanks to supporting this anus of humanity
I know I'm in the minority, but LotF 2023 was genuinely one of the best soulslikes I've played. Yeah, the CEO is a dumbass, but I also love Borderlands and Randy is a jackass.
I loved Lords of the Fallen. Especially after failing to love Dark Souls 3. I am so excited for this, I so hope they keep the Demon's Souls and Dark Souls style Metroidvania going and expand on combat. Spells, especially Umbral were much better in Lords of the Fallen than any souls game outside of Elden Ring.
I don't care what anyone else says. It is the best souls-like post updates and is up there with Wo-Long, Lies of P, and Mortal Shell.
Oh hey, I really like lords of the fallen 2023 and I didn’t know that the new one would come out so soon after they just released a new update where they already made a bunch of improvements
Is the newest LOTF any better since launch? I played when it came out and kind of hated it. Too many instakills, jumpscare enemies, and death pits for my taste.
First game wasn't particularly amazing or anything, but it was pretty good. I had a ton of fun with it for a while, so will keep my eye out for the sequel. Not sure I'll buy it before a sale though, might wait for it considering how much good stuff I've got on my backlog.
Honestly, not much. Only got it like a month ago cause it was half off, been having a great time with it. My issues with it are mostly nitpicking, such as player movesets being fairly limited depending on weapon class with dual wielding moveset being particularly noticeable since it's the same regardless of what you are dual wielding with double daggers having the same moveset as double greatsword except faster, and it feels kinda easy because you basically need to "die" twice to actually die.
However, art direction, sound design, armor design, weapon design, ALL top notch. They also provide in game randomizers for loot and enemy spawns, and other modifiers such as reverting enemy spawn counts to what they were at launch [apparently there were nearly triple the enemies in a lot of areas], fewer bonfire equivalents, basically a lot of stuff you can use to make the experience as difficult as you want. Today they even did a big update to buff almost all mobs so they hit faster, and added just a straight up Hard Mode which buffs everything even further. So, basically it seems like a studio that genuinely listens to what the player base wants.
Moral of the story is, it can be a bit clunky or jank in parts, but the love and care that went into it is pretty clear, and if you CAN get it on sale I'd recommend it
First game was pretty mid, and the 2.0 and 2.5 updates both still have the same bugs lmao, it's embarassing. I remember going into the Discord in 2.0 asking about the camera double sensitivity bug that made it awful to play and got told it was "known" and that was it, being told the only solution was to try a new controller.
First game was so very... meh? Art style is cool on the surface but a few hours in it just feels like "dark fantasy mobile game where shoulder plates are pokey". Combat was a little rough and the game had maybe 3 just decent bosses. Levels were an absolute clusterfuck of mobs.
Trailer still looked hype though ngl. Here's hoping they make some big improvements. Because the game does have some cool moments but I'm half convinced half the reason people like it is because its edgy af
I give the first game like a 7/10. You can describe it with one word: tedious. Having to wear an armor set AND fully upgrade a weapon for access to boss move sets is horrible. There's no point to being out of Umbral as you're actively locked out of progression and tons of loot by being out of it. This then leads to the entire game looking samey, as you're in Umbral almost the entire game. The performance at times has bad stutters and even sometimes causes your hits to not register during said stuttering. The game jumps you at times, with some of those enemies having those empowered parasite things that make them invincible. Questlines are a bit confusing to follow, I had more success during DS1 blind.
Not a bad game, but it isn't great either. Not really a "must-try", as that would go to Lies of P.
I actually really liked LOTF1. Am I like, weird? It was fun, art direction was great, build felt highly customizable…soundtrack was good too. Am fucking weird?
The aesthetic and exploration is great, bosses are atrociously boring. Management are little crybaby edgelords, but I'll give it a go as was entertaining to do in seemless coop. Hopefully they make the bosses actually engaging to fight
Like a lot of soulslike i couldnt play rhis for more than 15 minutes. They really confuse constructing miserable, ruined evnvironments with things that are just ugly to see - to the point of hurting my eyes
Republican DS2
I got the game on sale not knowing any of the drama. What's the tea? I found it alright. No where near dark souls or lies of P level but a 3.5/5, play if you like souls likes game.
Apparently the CEO is a major right wing grifter who‘s known for being an Assmongold meat slobberer
Ah I see. Damn that's unfortunate The devs do seem to care about the game, trying to keep it updated. It sucks the CEO is shitty.

One of the worst parts about the original Lords of The Fallen was the combat.
Attacking an enemy took 2 business days, it was so slow.
And I think that snowballs with the kind of reactionary hard-right fandom culture Asmongold represents, not just oh the LotF devs are breaking bread with an obviously a shitty person, but they're listening to someone with a kneejerk sense of ownership over games, and a hostility towards surprise or discomfort in art, because it challenges that sense of ownership. hey everyone, just chiming in here to say that you should all Google “asmongold alarm clock”
Asmongold rat alarm clock bleeding gum wall
yikes didn’t know that
The day assmoldgoon loses nurgles gifts is a great day
they got out there and were so proud to proclaim that none of their games would ever "use DEI" which is probably why the game sucks shit
if "no DEI" means everyone should be judged strictly on merit then they should go ahead and shut down the studio lol
Do NOT compare FromSoft’s magnum opus to this piece of crap
He didn't, he compared it to DS2
You DARE to imply that DS2 isn’t a flawless masterpiece?
Yeah Kojima really cooked with that one
I'm glad someone made the joke lol
Is this flawless masterpiece in the room with us right now?
Jokes on you, I literally have a copy of DS2 in my room with me rn
I bet it's sticky
Best comment chain today.
Oh, it's glazed all right.
Pic of you holding the game's case with your toes or it did NOT happen
DS2 is absolutely flawless... a flawless pile of shit.
omg your flair lol
Yeah man idk DS2 seemed pretty flawful to me
Oh, that one was spicy.
Pity them, friend. I'll see you in Drangleic.
DS2 has functioning and interesting powerstance. Lords of the Garbage has dual wielding that is worse than single wielding. DS2 is magnum opus. QED
This is potentially the funniest comment I’ve ever read
LMAO
This made me lol irl
You can just say laugh yknow
l***h
wtf
I ***'d
No way, I can?

Nioh 3 and Phantom Blade Zero better.
Phantom Blade Zero legit looks like it has some of the best animations I've ever seen in a character action game. Very interested.

Looks like Nioh 3 has a big oni mommy. But Lords of the Fallen 2 showcased some bare feet.
Hmm decisions decisions...
Nioh 2 has a few oni mommies
I mean, nioh is kinda peak, so that’s not hard.
Nioh definitely, phantom blade though is like one click do 50 moves type of a game.

epic exclusive, slop since reveal
Seriously Epic is only good for the amount of free games they give out, I got Alien Isolation, Subnautica and other games, god I love Into the Breach, aside from the free games everything else about Epic sucks lol.
I mean without Epic funding the game might not even see the light of day.
Didn't the devs of this game remove "body type" from the character creation of the 1st game and brought back "male and female" to appeal to right wing twitter grifters after the game flopped?
I will stand by the fact that "body type 1/2" is stupid until they add other body types like being cartoonishly fat or freakishly tall, or both
No point stopping at 2
I want to be shaped like Danny Devito, the ideal body type.
Why even use stupid numbers or letters like 1, 2, A, B, etc?
There's nothing wrong with calling it "masculine", "feminine", or even better, have a slider that goes in multiple directions.
Kinda like the old Saints Row games did it, that gave you extreme customization and no one had a problem with it.
Elden Ring calls them A/B
One benefit to numbers or a single letter is you don't need to localize "masculine/feminine". In all languages it's the same.
I know, that's the one I was refering to. When I first played it, I got confused on what exactly it meant.
The localisation thing doesn't really make sense, since the entire game needs to be translated as well. If you truly want it to be clear, why not use silhouettes instead?

Hitboxes would be a bit of a problem
They don't need to add additional hitboxes for that. This isn't Soul Caliber lol
Dragon’s Dogma 1 body type selection is absurd if you haven’t looked at it. You can make some truly beautiful sins.
I heard they also listen to assmongoloid or whatever his name is.

Damn I didn’t even know that, I just played it on release, realised it was dogshit and never touched it again
It’s like only the studio head right? Last I saw the CEO was saying all this stupid shit and slobbering on asmongoon’s knob.
It's not.
I hope this completely and miserably fails for them tbh, this weird push to the right wingers.
Feels like they did it in a desperate bid for attention to the game, and if it fails they’ll probably backtrack lol
Damn....
Yeah among other stupid things the devs said
It's also criminally boring to me
It just feels like you are playing the game in quicksand
It’s like the feeling of going from BB to DS1 but then going that much slower again from DS1
so basically chuds of the fallen?
Well the game certainly didn’t flop. It rode off the high of Elden Ring and had pretty solid marketing. Pretty sure it sold 1 million copies fairly quickly. But yes, they did appeal to the right wing Twitter grifters.
Pandering to internet grifters is a losing strategy every single time because grifters don’t actually play any of the games they talk about
Wow, everyone is parroting this and it’s kinda stupid. The devs heard some political opinions about the game, did a poll on twitter and the decision to change it to just saying male/female won, so they changed it. I see no problem with this.
No they did it to drum up hype, drama, and buzz at a time when that sort of woke/anti-woke thing was big gaming news.
Which they clearly did since Reddit still talks about it.
Is the hate for it here genuine or a meme? I have 200 hours on it since 2.0 and it’s the second best Souls-like I’ve ever played and I’ve played two Souls-likes
Enemy variety was too low, about the only complaint I had. Solid game
No idea, but I assume everything on this particular sub is buried under so many layers of irony that no one knows who is shitposting anymore
Solid game imo and the ammo system is the best implementation of ranged weapons in a soulslike that I've ever seen.
I really liked it, it honestly did some things better than from soft (ranged builds?!) and I loved the level designs.
Too bad about the chode CEO, no desire to support Nazis. Ive lived without blizzard the past 5 or whatever years, I can love without these dinguses
Separate the art from the artists but there's so much good stuff with passion and effort that needs support that we really shouldn't give these guys our money
A lot of people are hating on it because they have political brain worms. That's it.
They hate it because it’s not FromSoft. Literally that’s it.
I'll die on this hill i liked the first one I thought it was pretty good, obviously not from soft quality but I liked it, feel free to ask why I'm to tired to explain rn
the first first one? it's going for 1 dollars rn, maybe I buy it
the 2023 remake, og lords is gutter trash
The first first one is beyond awful, genuinely one of the worst games with a notable budget that I’ve played
Okay but serious question why don’t people like this game? Is it easier than all of the souls entries? Is the quality of the game just bad?
It has the same problem a lot of souls-likes have in that it’s not dark souls. Tries to imitate dark souls but doesn’t have the same level of fluidity Fromsoft is known for
They played it at launch or have never played it and are just echo-chambering.
If you like DS3 you will like LOTF. If you don’t then your brain needs studied because they’re extremely similar experiences.
IMO it stomps basically any non-fromsoft soulslike. Only really Lies of P comes close but Lies has shitty level design and I don’t vibe with the art style so much.
I mean… ds3 is my favourite souls game 👀
it sucks that the game (reboot) was ok with patches but the devs are anti-woke chuds
Damn are they? I'm excited for this after playing the reboot
I don’t see how the devs being pro woke or anti woke has any effect on if the game is good or bad?
Well, typically people dont like giving bad people money. So....
I'm hyped as hell for this.
This game looks amazing wtf are you talking about?
i genuinely love this game 🤤
Best non-fromsoft soulslike IMO.
I think it actually does a lot of things better than dark souls. Visible poise bar, “ammunition” system for throwables and bows, multiple spells hotkeyed at any given time. Armor shaders. 2-stage God of War style dodge, Sekiro parry.
Tons of QOL stuff, and it plays very solid.
Same here I really love the game. Does it have its problems absolutely. But it still was a fun time and interesting.
But I liked the first one a lot.
I actually really like the first one but it just sucks that the CEO of the company is a Republican.
Not just Republican, he went on tirades supporting AfD (Germany's modern day Nazi party) on truth social at one point. The posts have been removed but yeah, no thanks to supporting this anus of humanity
Jesus Christ
Bummer cause the game was great, I thought it was competitive with fromsoft in many ways. C'est la vie
Oh yeah. Especially when it came to how it approached magic and ranged combat.
wait isn't it made by the Polish devs? Poles are definitely NOT supporting AfD
Dark Crusader build, here I come! Again.
I know I'm in the minority, but LotF 2023 was genuinely one of the best soulslikes I've played. Yeah, the CEO is a dumbass, but I also love Borderlands and Randy is a jackass.
Fuck you the games good
I loved Lords of the Fallen.
It’s like dark souls if it lost all of its soul to appeal to anti woke chuds, terrible game
Oh hey, I really like lords of the fallen 2023 and I didn’t know that the new one would come out so soon after they just released a new update where they already made a bunch of improvements
Not gonna lie, it looks fun af with all the finishers and gore
Is the newest LOTF any better since launch? I played when it came out and kind of hated it. Too many instakills, jumpscare enemies, and death pits for my taste.
LOTF is a pretty sick game.
Not on the same level of Dark souls, but nonetheless a solid game. I enjoyed it, and am excited the the 2nd one.
It had a rough start but got soooo much better since release. Give it a shot before ya hate.
You know youre on reddit when most of the comments are crying about muh dev politics and not about the value of the game itself.
Yall aint better than the same grifters who cry about muh woke because woman doesnt have tits
How dare you challenge the mainstream opinion in my echo chamber>:(
Was a big fan of the firsts on launch. Sucks the sequel is epic exclusive. It also looks really good so I guess I gotta get an epic games account
>Epic Games Store
>No Steam
Oh dear god
Dang I guess I won't get to play the most mid soulslike of all time
I genuinely liked the original original lords of the fallen. The reboot was trash, I will be taking questions.
The original was more imaginative and distinct from the Dark Souls formula.
Actually pretty excited for it.
First game wasn't particularly amazing or anything, but it was pretty good. I had a ton of fun with it for a while, so will keep my eye out for the sequel. Not sure I'll buy it before a sale though, might wait for it considering how much good stuff I've got on my backlog.
I seriously hope it flops fuck LOTF
Is this one gonna have a bot campaign like the other one?
We cannot be calling a soulslike slop when there are community members supporting Nightreign dlc
Two slops don't make a right
I like that they had to call it 2.5
Huh? Wasn't that just about an update to the first Lords of the Fallen?
Edit: Yeah, seems like I remember right, are you referring to something else then?

Ps5-less guy here what is everything wrong with this game?
Moral of the story is, it can be a bit clunky or jank in parts, but the love and care that went into it is pretty clear, and if you CAN get it on sale I'd recommend it
Aint they done this before?
Ill probably pirate it it looks sick though, really dig the very biblically inspired aesthetic
Wait isn’t there already a Lords of the Fallen 2
Peak
Hey…. I liked the first one…. Was it dark souls good? No…. But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have fun
If they keep refining the coop, is a solid experience. Otherwise is kinda boring
I learned the first time if I get this game it will be a year later and when it’s on sale.
I commend them for continuing to iterate, at least
LOTF 2023 v2.0 is amazing, cant wait for this one
I actually really liked LOTF1. Am I like, weird? It was fun, art direction was great, build felt highly customizable…soundtrack was good too. Am fucking weird?
The aesthetic and exploration is great, bosses are atrociously boring. Management are little crybaby edgelords, but I'll give it a go as was entertaining to do in seemless coop. Hopefully they make the bosses actually engaging to fight
Well, maybe they'll make something interesting this time.
The first one was shit

Like a lot of soulslike i couldnt play rhis for more than 15 minutes. They really confuse constructing miserable, ruined evnvironments with things that are just ugly to see - to the point of hurting my eyes
I hope they introduce coop like first game’s 2.0 patch at launch. Makes it actually worth buying
Switching from the dark, mysterious not-firekeeper’s energy to rock music was certainly a choice for the trailer
I’ll be waiting for it to come out on steam thanks
Omg not ts again
Poop of the fallen shit was so ass
I can only imagine a lot of you don’t have friends, because LotF has some of the best coop in the genre and FromSoft should take notes.
Fuck Epic exclusives tho
Genuinely don't get how these games keep getting made. I tried the first one and it felt like playing Dark Souls in waist deep mud.
The game a worse version of ds1
I will play it, thank you
I thought lords of the fallen 2 came out a while back?
They actually made it look good in the trailers. Might check it out this time, fully.
I thought there already was some lords of fallen souls like ass sequel that already came out or am I thinking of some other game?
Lol I called it lords of the sloppen last night
Wait, what happened?
This game actually looks much better than the last one
I love lord of the fallen and it gotten so many quality of life update it great they pull a no man sky
