I cannot and will not ignore your yellow socks. They go perfectly with your whole outfit, including that nicely fitted skirt.
Katerina Ivanova definitely makes some very polished and informative tutorials. I particularly like her complete guide and ode to circle skirts video. She provides a wonderful (and kind of nerdy) breakdown of how different fabrics will behave in a circle skirt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOJxWX8eacw
I actually made the circle skirt as my first project. It was too short. The waist a little to large. The pockets were different sizes. A lot of lose thread. But it’s totally wearable and very comfortable. I wear it to work very often

Looks great! I love Katerina’s tutorials. I don’t buy patterns, I prefer drafting them myself so I can learn the details of garment construction and how to tweak them. Her videos are so helpful for beginners.
I already made a circle skirt following her tutorial, which have little to none pattern. I think it really allow me to be familiar with a lot of thing(waistband, pocket, zipper, heming) before I try something that requires more precision.
And it’s a plus to learn some simple pattern drafting as well!

Poor unloved yellow socks. 🧦
Oh well, just tell them they have at least one supporter. 😄
NGL I think the socks sort of make the ensemble work 😁
Looks very well constructed! Also love the primary color scheme outfit!
It feels surprisingly festive 🤣
