Started sewing earlier this year and started out by making a little coin purse of my cat! It definitely turned out a little cursed, but I still use it! Today, I just finished my most recent cat-coin-purse in the likeness of my coworker’s siamese kitty. The faux fur fabric definitely had its challenges, but I was able to shave it down to make it more manageable. I hand-sewed the facial features and the ears, then used a double sided iron-on interfacing(I think that’s what it’s called?) to adhere the inner lining. I only ended up using my sewing machine to attach the zipper, and to join the two sides of the coin-purse! Thank you for looking! This is my fourth sewing project since starting and I’m very proud of it :)
It's really nice to see the progression with the more challenging material and the extra details on the Siamese purse.
great work!!
So good! I love it!
I'd be happy with either version.
