    So, please don’t take this the wrong way: you get to setup what works for you, but just asking…

    Should the shoulder straps be connected to the waist belt, somehow ? I’ve always seen (in training materials) that the shoulder straps are connected to the waist belt.

    It looks like the shoulder harness is riding up on your chest, and without being attached to the waistbelt, it could get dangerously near your neck ?

    Here, I used two separate belts: 2221/r and 4213/r.

    For safety reasons, the manufacturer recommends using the abdominal (2221) or chest (4213) belts in combination with the foot and arm belts, providing at least a 5-point restraint.

    What you're thinking of is the 2221 + 2203 combination, which I'm not currently using.

    I sometimes use the belt extension connecting the chest to the abdomen and thighs to prevent them from shifting in any direction. Examples can be found in my other posts, for example here:
