I have always fantasized about doing a really long session in Segufix. And i just found this icelock on Etsy which lasts for a whopping 19,5 hours!
Being helplessly strapped down for such a long time seems sooooooo tempting :P
Buuuuuut, lets be realistic here and admit that 19,5 hours is perhaps a bit too much, but how long is it possible for a normal healthy person to be restrained safely in Segufix? My personal record is about 12 hours, and i felt a bit stiff afterwards, but nothing serious. And if one is to do such a long session, how can i prepare? I mean, i believe thirst will be the main issue, so perhaps a waterbottle with a really long straw that allows me to drink.
The first thing I do before a longer session is to stretch as much as I can. Back legs arms shoulders just loosen up like you would for athletics. I notice a big difference when I do not stretch and it is much more pleasant when I do. I think some form of diaper is obviously implied here and I would probably try to eat light before the session. Unless you want a very squishy diaper lol. As for water, a camel back is what we use with a bite valve. Cheap and easy. The biggest thing is to work up to it. Long term bondage is a marathon not a sprint. Don’t push it past what feels comfortable.
I wouldn't say it would be impossible, but 19,5 hours (or more, depending on room temp and the water mineral content) would definitely push it to a "hell no" for me. I think 12 would be about the max I'd be uncomfortable with/for. A session that long would probably also just require supervision from a logistics standpoint (water supply, maybe a diaper change, check-ins, slight changes due to discomfort, releasing a limb to ease off cramp, etc). I really wouldn't think of doing such a session solo.
I would imagine the limiting factor is hunger and thirst, which could be overcome with liquid drinks (Huel etc) and water with minerals (sports hydration drinks).
After that it'd be bowel movements, probably 19.5 hours is doable in a diaper with enough extra stuffers, until you have a bowel movement then you'd want to be out within an hour or two.
You'd probably find stiffness/soreness of limbs, depending on the setup. I should imagine you could train for that.
I think my personal limit would be extreme horniness, which would kick in much sooner :-P
You can just try it? But with the possibility to open it by yourself anytime you need.
Sometimes when I did a long time fix, I do some ‚cheating‘ and take some Ibuprofen in before.
Oooh, ive done this also, I didn’t realize it was a common thing: taken ibuprofen as a muscle relaxer before a long session, helps prevent the soreness later.
🫣 Actually, you’re the first one whom I‘ve told. So I‘m very unsure if it’s a common thing or a strange thing? Anyway… it works.
When you are doing your setup, are you building it according to your wishes/preferences, or are you orienting it to the most realistic set up as possible? (I hope I could explain that correctly)
Tom Cruise and Kate Winslet learned to hold their breath for over 7 minutes for Mission Impossible and Avatar movies, anything is possible when you set your mind to it.
It doesn’t happen straightaway of course and is something you need to work towards.
Planning, experience, refinement, learning and such all matter. I’ve never done that long but I imagine it’s like a marathon, once you can run a half marathon, getting the rest is a matter of the mind. If you’ve done 12 hours, 19 or more is not unrealistic.
Important also to know why and what you want to help you get there, and to have a goal/purpose. I’d say without that, going form 12-19 (especially if you’re awake not asleep) needs a motivating factor in there.
