Sooo this was kinda random but I was cleaning my room today and found out my old wooden dresser has a secret compartment. Like a legit hidden space behind the bottom drawer. I’ve had this thing for YEARS and never noticed it.
It wasn’t even fancy or anything. The board just slid out if you pulled it the right way. Inside was… absolutely nothing lol. Not even a cool note or some cursed item from the past. Just dust and a dead spider.
Well... Are you going to show us?
Cool. Add a note for the next guy. Maybe a confession from a CIA agent about the plot to kill Kennedy.
Sign it D. B. Cooper.
I am not Doobie Keebler
Or sign if JFK.
What do people hide in these things now that it's no longer necessary to hide your weed?
Hide jewellery when you go on vacation and have a house sitter in.
Gonna need that compartment in a year
Still illegal in my state. :(
Love letters from people you're not supposed to have love letters from, jewelry, confession letters because you just had to tell what you did but can't trust anyone, stashes of other substances that are still illegal, stock certificates :), money, the murder weapon, your revised will that cuts out the bastard that thinks he's getting everything and the new heir is the only one that knows where it is, proof of the crime that you're holding over that person's head, picture of the one that got away that you look at and reminisce over every so often- lots of things
Have you checked if the dead spider fits anywhere? Maybe it's the key to the next hidden compartment!!!!!!! Treasure awaits!
There’s a hidden compartment in the spider.
My daughter had an old dresser that had small to drawers and it you pulled the one on the right all the way out, there was a trinket box that slid out
Add a congrats note and a twenty for the next owner.
Put a treasure map in it.
I used to do that when I was a kid. I’d hide treasure around the house and then hide the maps. Arrr.
"$350,000 in gold buried under a giant W at these coordinates"
It's a mad mad mad mad world.
Just as long as I don’t literally kick the bucket.
Bonus points if it leads to a geocaching location
That has a map back to the dresser's coordinates...
Definitely put something cool in it!
This is for the next person!
Leave a note:
"Welcome back, Once and Future Wizard! DO NOT ressurect the spider! Not again! Leave it to guard The Key, without which, all hope is lost! When your powers return, we will meet again!"
My dad’s bed had a hidden compartment built into the frame. He reminded me of it when he went into assisted living and found that’s where he’d stashed some of the good silver. God only knows why. Probably because it was there and he figured he ought to use it since he had it.
