  • Quinn finally had a positive impact on the game with some very timely goals so I’m gonna go with him

If Quinn turns into an impactful player and not just a guy that skates up and down the ice, look out …

He needed a game like this, this kid should have twice as many goals as he does right now. Hope this gives him a confidence boost, if he gets going then this team will be a force to be reckoned with (not that they aren't right now)

  • Lots of players to choose from, my choice would be Quinn though.

  • Doan killed a guy

Yeah actually Doan I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You might wanna lay low for a while...

He was like, so good in that fight. Took Strome down like he was a little puppet. Not a single scratch on Doan in the box afterwards. Freaking incredible.

While that was certainly sick, does anybody else feel like that energized the Ducks a little more than it did the fellas? That was kind of the point when Anaheim starting turning up the heat.

    With a trident?

Doan, how did you get a trident??

  • Doan, Quinn, UPL, so many options!

  • This sub would have said UPL if the team hadn’t collapsed in the last five minutes.

  • Quinn obviously.

  • UPL made some key saves when we weren't playing our best.

Quinn 2 goals were incredibly timely, but if the tram.in front of UPL doesnt turtle we likely dont get in the position of needing those goals to make a difference.

  • Give it to Quinn. He also played decent defensively as well. Hopefully this is the Quinn we continue to see

His coach publicly supporting him was probably nice to see. When you’re in your own head and someone comes and gives you unconditional support it can help move those mental blockers

  • Only 3 that weren’t won in regulation too, right? These guys are good, scary good.

  • I’m a Wild fan, yet I am pumped to see the Sabres’ recent success. Would love to see Buffalo in the playoffs. Keep it going 💪🏼

  • Pegula, for going hands off and letting answer come from the room

Kevin Adams for building a great roster. /S

Hahaha honest to god, what weird timing for this streak. IS it partially because he got fired??

The rumor is all the players knew that ka was going to be fired. the sabres jjust held on the news because jarmo's dad died

So this is honestly the main reason? I just don’t understand the connection at all.

Impossible to tell. Typically when an organization makes a big change there is a response. Kind of a wake up call. It happens more in hockey than a lot of sports.

I agree. But with a GM? The players do realize they are largely on that team together because of the GM, right?

Yeah, but they know they are expendable, because jarmo told them so. Remember, this is like their boss got fired. They do what they're told by the coach, but the gm ultimate controls their fate

    No sarcasm, he did.

  • UPL. Even the players said they let their goalie down. He was making someone clutch saves left and right.

  • Down or Quinn. Quinn straight up sniped the ducks every clear chance he got. Absolutely lethal

  • Give it to UPL. Despite the 5 minutes where 3 were let in(not all on him) he kept them in the game pretty strong. Honorable mention to Doan/Quinn.

  • can i still make seth appert the blame of the game?

    otherwise doan

Okay who are the appert defenders who are downloading this? Our power play is disgustingly bad. I'm glad we can make up for a 5v5 and our PK is so good, but there's really no excuses for our power play being this bad

  • He wasn’t fame of the game because very little he did was flashy.

But that may have been Owen Power’s best game. If he can continue to be that good consistently (I can’t believe I am typing this) that contract will end up a bargain.

As a previous hater, I apologize OP, I did not recognize your game. Keep opening it up for Byrum to do his thing.

  • Error: It says Thompson has 1 FOTG W in the game @ Dallas when he really has 2, he got one earlier in the season in the OTW @ Detroit. Sorry for this mistake, Go Swords
