As someone who has wanted to see Discord on the show for years I want to say how impressed I am with her attitude. She was libelled for months after filming, unable to push back before the cast reveal because of the NDA, with seemingly the whole fandom just accepting that she’d been disqualified for racism. Then the season begins and everyone from the editors to the judges to the fans are ripping her to shreds for her walk. Many queens would’ve had a justified crash out by now, but instead she’s leaning into it, laughing along with everyone, just proposed to her partner and is performing punk rock drag numbers about abolishing ICE. Truly a class act
At this point you’ve just gotta be memorable and she sure is. And the key to longevity is laughing with everyone.

The Chicago scene apparently doesn't like her so everyone ran with that from what I can tell and it turned into a made up disqualification for racism/a fight rumour.
The most I can find is that she accused one of Shea's drag daughters of being addicted to coke

Karen was kind of a flop from what I recall, very Uma gahd from Canada's drag race coded, but with much better looks. I don't remember Karen ever seeming like a frontrunner. I can't even remember who won down under s1
Kita Mean did bc by the time the finale came around she was the only viable option (not that she didn’t deserve it). Two racists and Art Simone who was brought back unexpectedly after being an early out and then won zero challenges
Oh yeah that was such a wild ride, and I don't mean that in a good way.
Honestly in hindsight, as gaggy was arts first exit was, arguably thee defining moment of the season, I would have preferred she not gone home, and had been the first winner
I thought Art did a wonderful job in the season aside from Snatch game and could have been a worthy challenge-less winner.

She destroyed the final verse challenge. I feel like she could have viably won episodes 1 & 3. Ru just doesn’t like queens from countries where they’re already established hence she basically got the Joe Black treatment

Karen also did the worst out of all the finalists, she flopped every challenge after the first episode except for the makeover. Also her finale verse alone was Disq worthy.
Scarlet Adams unfortunately was the best performer of that season but thankfully they didn’t crown her because of the backlash.
I wish they would’ve given Elektra the arc she deserved.
Her track record should’ve been so much better than it was. 2 of her 3 bottom placements were not only unfair, but should’ve been a WIN (girl groups) and HIGH (talent show)
Her making it to the finale and slaying the final Rumix (because, duh) and beating out the front runner - Scarlet - would’ve been so satisfying from a storytelling perspective and for the audience as well. They just refused to give Elektra the praise she deserved besides the one episode she won where it was just utterly undeniable. Despite it, though, she was like the main character all season and she was an incredible lipsyncer to top it off.
I feel like we saw this same story repeat, and even worse because the overall season was so fucked, in España 3 with Clover being the underdog who could’ve/should’ve won 3 challenges and been in the final 2 against Pitita. Though, at least in that instance, I do think Pitita was the correct winnner.
In the case of DRDU, Scarlet was who they were banking on and Kita’s win feels like damage control despite her doing pretty well (though never amazing, I’d say) on the season. Oh, what could’ve been with DRDU…
Anita, Etcetera, Elektra, Maxi and a better edited Kita could've all been very satisfying winners.

I think Discord is an amazing drag queen so far and she has such a command over her persona. The walk is all anyone can talk about.

I like discord so far. I think the ribbing about the walk is more laughing with her than at her. Yes it's a terrible walk, but I also kind of think it's on purpose. There's really only one queen that I absolutely don't care for this season and it's not Discord. We laugh every week when she goes clomping down the runway, but that doesn't make her a bad person or a bad queen.

I watched her come up in the Chicago scene with her partner Gidget and they were both such a delight to chat with. Any time I saw them out, I’d strike up a conversation and they were always so sweet and welcoming, but also outspoken about how the Chicago drag scene is a very closed-door scene. You don’t expect the alternative / grunge queen to be so sweet and kind, but in my experience, Discord was.
