Hiya we’ve trapped a tame cat as part of a TNR campaign at a dump. She’s chipped but the number sequence doesn’t belong to the NZ database, she’s registered on Homeagain according to Google.

Any rescues able to help? It costs a fortune to emigrate with pets here including a lengthy quarantine. We are looking on lost pet pages here, too.

    There is a possibility that the cat got loose at an airport or in transit. People wouldn't dump a cat after going through all the expense to get them there IMO.
