Frank "Cannonball" Richards was a real vaudeville strongman in the 1930s known for taking cannonballs, punches, and sledgehammers to the gut. He performed without reported injuries from these stunts and lived to age 81, dying in 1969.

This is the weakest cannonball ever made. Imagine using as artillery on a 100m field and losing the battle because the ball fell short 70m of the enemy.

An actual cannon that close of range would damage a solid reinforced concrete wall. Mostly surface damage and interior fractures. But against a guy? Well I hope whatever was behind him you wanted painted red because by God it will be after that.
