i always try to remember...prairie fires clear the ground for new growth...we just have to make it through the fire first. and i feel like the fire is coming soon.
they will probably start it off with a shocking event, one which disrupts the infrastructure our current world system is built on (economic, technological, maybe even utilities like electricity, gas, and water for the time it takes them to institute martial law- say, 10 days to 3 weeks).
if you haven't already, i suggest gathering enough supplies that you could live self-sufficiently for at least a week or three. and if you live in a big city, make a plan for getting out of town to someplace more quiet where you know people. the countryside will probably not be as strongly effected as densely-populated urban areas. people there still usually know their neighbors (and even if they gossip about them, they'll still be willing to work together to survive, i think)
and if you haven't already, cultivate a connection to God! (or whatever name you choose for the power connecting and underlying the universe).
i strongly feel that more than anything else, a connection to the source of Life which is outside this visible, tangible, sensible realm will be the most valuable asset in the times to come.
sorry for the rant! but it's good to type words, it relieves the pressure inside my head somehow. i too have been watching events unfold this past week with a sinking feeling in my stomach. it seems like they are desperate to kick things off for some reason, and moving faster than usual. maybe, paradoxically, it's a reason for hope- when people are desperate, they make mistakes.
literally. they just want to be able to federalize the national guard and unleash them on left-leaning cities — which is what they’ve been trying to do all along but have been blocked by the courts.
