Terminally online and desperate to tell everyone hes a survivor/victim to appear "strong" cause its the easiest thing to do. Its hilarious how their victim hood is so fucking lazy as well
There’s so much more to life than consooming, that much I can agree with, but if a thing brings light into someone’s life then that’s a win for that person. Not to mention, it’s not like these big real problems are all just sitting there going unaddressed.
Yeah! I don’t pretend I know exactly where or when or how I plan to do my part a lot of the time but I’m at least trying to look, and apparently a lot of people can’t even do that!
Honestly was a slow year for media in general. Like a couple of key movies and like 2 good video games but otherwise it's all been pale in comparison. Nothing to be excited about.
So this reddit moment post has turned into a bunch of reddit moment replies. This feels like proof of concept that all of reddit is a reddit moment. Oh shit, my reply is a reddit moment too! There is no escape.
yeah, welcome to the real world. the real world IS flawed and isn’t perfect, but happiness is what you make it. turn off the news and enjoy YOUR life. enjoy the small things because your life is short, and could be over at anytime. life is a gift itself. when you turn off the news, enjoy your family/relationships, socialize, and get outside and find a decent hobby, try something new and do it over and over, i promise you life won’t be so bad. ( also stop believing everything on the internet ! )
So just lie?, in recent human history (200 years) there has not been a single year that has been deemed genocide free by any historical expert, genocides have been happening since the 1800,s and before just less documented
Yeah it’s not like isis did anything to the Yazidis or anything bad was happening in Yemen a decade ago in the good old days…or ten years before that with Darfur in peace, Russia not targeting civilians, and the great president at the time who would never invade a country unjustifiably
welcome to the real world. all countries have blood on their hands. this is how the world works. turn off the news and enjoy your life, maybe instead of pitying donate to those people if you want to help really bad.
The world is in a constant state of "turmoil", it just gets beamed right to your brain because of the internet. Before you had to actively seek it out.
The world has actually been in the longest standing time of peace for a while now.
There is a War in Ukraine, 2 genocides happening, and nuclear weapons treaties are bring disposed off. The world is not in the same period of “peace” it was in 2012.
If you think any of those things started since 2012 then buddy I have a bridge to sell you. Also none of those fit the bill of "multi-national peer country warfare" like the world has had in the past.
Have fun doomscrolling though, I'm sure it's great for your mental health.
"The world has actually been in the longest standing time of peace for a while now."
This is the comment you replied to. Your comment implies the "longest standing time of peace" has been beat out since 2012. Nothing that has happened in the last 13 years has been on the level of multi-national peer warfare. Just because you don't know what you're actually saying doesn't mean I'm putting words in your mouth.
Also, here's a cheat code: if the US hasn't pulled the draft then odds are it's not anything compared to the past.
Errrm you say the year was good for you? What about children in africa huh???
Classic Reddit doomer. Guaranteed this person spends less than an hour outside per week.
god I miss when we had years where absolutely zero shootings happened or anything remotely bad at all. Those were the days.
99% this is a white teenager growing up in a decent suburb of a major city without any real life concerns yet
Terminally online and desperate to tell everyone hes a survivor/victim to appear "strong" cause its the easiest thing to do. Its hilarious how their victim hood is so fucking lazy as well
That also somehow has a doctorate in some random field but clearly knows nothing about it.
That field is called yapping
Worst thing we had were mongol invasions but kids were built different back then
No shootings over here this month
And no pandemics either.
The pre-Black Death era (before 1346) was where it was at.
Aside from, you know, all those pesky Crusades and literally getting shit tossed down on you by someone above emptying their chamberpot.
But aside from that, surely those were the good days.
Yeah, I miss 4 billion BC
Thats every year ever by that logic.
Misery loves company
that one friend that's too woke

But if just talked about them more on Reddit they would be solved!
“We aren’t doing enough” is simultaneously a true and important statement and the most unproductive statement in the world
For sure, especially when the we really means other people and not them.
Yeah! I don’t pretend I know exactly where or when or how I plan to do my part a lot of the time but I’m at least trying to look, and apparently a lot of people can’t even do that!
someone being HAPPY? IN MY APP TO BE BITTER? oh no not on my watch
Jaden smith ahh comment
Dude in every year children got brutally murdered. But before like tvs, cameras, radios and phones people just couldnt record them
being happy is a crime
"misery is rising" Yeah bro you are not really helping on that...
The most insufferable personality type of all time. Damned if you're happy, damned if you're sad.
"but internet say everything bad!!"
Reddit hates opinions that aren't the hivemind lol. I don't think 2025 was a good year, but if someone had a great 2025, then I'm happy for them
yeah dude that doesn’t happen every year or anything. good Lord some people can’t enjoy anything
Best year RELATIVELY SPEAKING
Honestly was a slow year for media in general. Like a couple of key movies and like 2 good video games but otherwise it's all been pale in comparison. Nothing to be excited about.
agreed on movies but 2025 was a great year for music
Where is this post?

Most years don’t have active genocides going on…… and this year we got 2.
So just lie?, in recent human history (200 years) there has not been a single year that has been deemed genocide free by any historical expert, genocides have been happening since the 1800,s and before just less documented
Well when it's not being blasted into their brain by MSM then it's never happening
Yeah it’s not like isis did anything to the Yazidis or anything bad was happening in Yemen a decade ago in the good old days…or ten years before that with Darfur in peace, Russia not targeting civilians, and the great president at the time who would never invade a country unjustifiably
With an elementary school education this would be true

I think countering actual global turmoil with "yeah but tv superhero go brrr" (as in the OOP) is the real redditmoment here but who am I.
The world is in a constant state of "turmoil", it just gets beamed right to your brain because of the internet. Before you had to actively seek it out.
The world has actually been in the longest standing time of peace for a while now.
Yeah like 6 years ago. Shits been wild since.
Your talking points are from 2012 and pretty out of date.
Bro just shut up. Unless we entered into a massive multi peer-country war since 2012 then you're just being vague and talking out your ass.
There is a War in Ukraine, 2 genocides happening, and nuclear weapons treaties are bring disposed off. The world is not in the same period of “peace” it was in 2012.

I never claimed of all time, stop putting words in my mouth. I said compare to the last 10 years.

Are you 12 years old or something lol
"blions muust dies" ahh redditer
