Context: Last Tuesday I got a verbal communication from recruiter that I have been selected and as asked I submitted relevant documents. Post that I have spoken twice regarding compensation and joining date. I asked recruiter regarding official letter and he seems super busy and just gave a rough timeline by mid week. However I am so anxious and confused as there is not even an email that confirms my selection. It is a reputed MNC and I am just hoping it is not a red flag and just holiday delay.

My question is: what is the reasonable timeline to expect something official? In the past I have almost always got an offer within a day or two.
