Been a Radiohead fan since 1994 and this is by far the best live performance. They had spent a long time touring on the back of Creep being a hit especially in America and were so tight as a band.
You can really tell they are enjoying debuting songs from The Bends and they had perfected anything from Pablo Honey. They should release this performance on vinyl.
Mine’s quite niche, a bit silly and purely for nostalgic reasons: My Iron Lung at the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party 1995. I was 12 at the time, I’d bought The Bends a few months beforehand and I was in love with it. I just remember being completely entranced by them and thinking it was the coolest thing I’d ever seen, and then thinking I was the coolest thing ever at school on Monday because everyone else thought they were really weird- but I got it, I understood, I knew they were the shit, and for the first time in my life I knew I was right and everyone at school was wrong.
I was there. It was a great set but ruined by the audience a bit. There were people around me in the crowd who had bought all weekend passes and didn't really give a shit about the music. Manchester a few days later felt more special to me.
I have been lucky to see them 10 times. I think my single favorite performance of the 10 would have to be either Atlanta 2001 (first show) or one of the two Hollywood Bowl 2008 shows. Seeing them at the Bowl was always so sublime.
Cinema Grand Rex 2000. A relatively intimate venue (think Brixton Academy size) and we ended up in the aisles fairly close to the stage. My first time with them and the best.
Closely followed by Glastonbury 2003. My first Glasto but 3rd or 4th time seeing Radiohead by that point.
Jools Holland 97. A , because it's the definitive live version of paranoid android, B. Because it made my tiny mind realise Radiohead were not just any ordinary old band.
concert: glastonbury 2003, contains the best versions of there, there. karma police and lucky for me. Purely a song performance, please watch Climbing Up The Walls at Lollapalooza Chicago 2016, goosebumps
Blackpool II, in 2006. There was something in the ether that night and everyone in there - the band included - were plugged into it directly. I’ve been living off the buzz for almost 20 years.
There are plenty of others that can really scratch that itch, but those above are absolutely essential for me - Bonnaroo, a popular favourite around here, possibly the least of these. But it's still terrific!
Why is no one mentioning Saitama 2008 😭? I think it has the best live versions of 15 step, Just, Jigsaw falling into place and How to Disappear Completely
In Rainbows From the Basement
This! And not quite Radiohead, but Thom and Johnny at Le Reservoir
Thé 2003 acoustic show or a different one ?
bonnaroo 2006
Even the band said this was a special show
I was there, totally agree. Un-fucking-believable show
Board feed is incredible from that show. My friend also made a smoking audience tape from it too. Probably his best ever tape.
I wish they'd give us a studio recording of that version of videotape
It's so good. I can't decide between the studio and bonnarroo version 😭
shut up, live at mtv beach house 93' better
Nicest radio head fan
😭 nah the stereotype is pretentiousness
Glastonbury 2003. Still have memories of that night standing on the hill taking it all in.
That was a special night!
I think as a fan, it doesn't really get any better.
IIRC the crowd drowns out Thoms voice at the end of Karma Police during the last "for a minute there...." gives me the chiiiiillllllllls every time.
He did the same thing for one of the two nights in Berkeley, CA 2017 and at least one of the nights in Berlin earlier this month.
Goosebumps every time. Every time.
Best answer
It has the greatest version of "Fake Plastic Trees" I've ever heard.
Berlin 2000. The end. Only bad part to me is it doesn't contain MPS.
A very serious contender. The semi-official bootleg was to die for.
London 2025
Jonny and Thom unplugged in Paris and Hammerstein Ballroom 1997
We Suck Young Blood from the HTTT live collection. The audience understood the assignment and got the claps right.
The singalong to There There is pretty darn wonderful too!
Probably the Jools Holland Paranoid Android. And Go To Sleep...
As of right now 94 in Astoria. Amazing set

Copenhagen 15-16 December 2025
True love waits (Oslo)

Awesome!
Sail to the moon from the live HTTT album is up there
Glasgow transmit 2017. The full bbc broadcast is out there and is incredible.

Lollapalooza 2016 in Chicago, great setlist imo
It's BEYOND shocking that I'm the first one to mention this:
https://www.radiohead.com/library/#okc/1997-12-19-live-at-the-10-spot
Hands down their best professionally recorded gig of the 90s for both setlist, performance and recording quality.
There are many contenders for anything past 2000/Kid A, but for the 90s, it's got to be Live at 10 Spot.
Berkeley 2017 was very special, it was a unique experience
According to lore concerts like bonnaroo 06 and Berlin 00 are great
Love the Greek Amphitheater. Such a unique venue. Plus the walk up the hill really builds the energy as you get closer and closer.
Was at the 2nd show & I agree. Very special, one for the time capsule.
I have been lucky to see them 10 times. I think my single favorite performance of the 10 would have to be either Atlanta 2001 (first show) or one of the two Hollywood Bowl 2008 shows. Seeing them at the Bowl was always so sublime.
All 4 nights of Madison Square Garden 2018, but especially night 3 of that run.
MTV '93 of course
Cinema Grand Rex 2000. A relatively intimate venue (think Brixton Academy size) and we ended up in the aisles fairly close to the stage. My first time with them and the best.

Roundhouse moon shaped pool tour
Berlin 2025, night 1 & 2. Second favorite was Thom doing Radiohead songs solo last year. Second one kinda counts.
It’s a Thom performance, but Cymbal Rush from the Henry Rollins show
South Park, Oxford or first night of London, 2025.
concert: glastonbury 2003, contains the best versions of there, there. karma police and lucky for me. Purely a song performance, please watch Climbing Up The Walls at Lollapalooza Chicago 2016, goosebumps
Bonnaroo 2006. 7/4/00.
Blackpool II, in 2006. There was something in the ether that night and everyone in there - the band included - were plugged into it directly. I’ve been living off the buzz for almost 20 years.
Blow Out from Huddersfield 1992. Climbing Up the Walls from New York 1998. Kid A from Berlin 2000.
Sferisterio, Macerata, 2017
Copenhagen (16th), third time seeing them and it blew both the others away.
pyramid song live (canal 5?)
Bonnaroo 2006
Bonaroo 2006.
In order:
Cambridge coal exchange 1994 supported by sparkle horse they played songs only released 30 years later as extra tracks on okay computer
The one i was at 2 weeks ago. Also Lollapalooza 2016. Also cause i was there.
And Glastonbury 2003. Especially the performance of Paranoid Android, Thom is transcendental. (And transcendentally creepy.)
Identikit - Coachella (2012?)
Specifically when they played exit music live the other day 22nd in london, i was there, i havent heard anything better
Santa Barbara Bowl 2012
São Paulo 2009 (I was there, so).
I also love Thumbs Down and Scotch Mist webcasts.
Mexico City 2009 (think that's the correct year)
South Park Oxford 2001
Northside Festival, Aarhus, 2017. Rain down.
Benicassim 2002
BKS festival 2017 was pretty amazing.
Goffertpark Nijmegen 2000, they played in a tent.
Live at the California rose bowl. 2008-ish?
It’s the one NPR recorded
Glastonsbury 2003❤️
All the ones I’ve been to.
2+2=5 london 2003
Fréjus 2000, Vaison 2001, and the very best of all time was Montreux 2003
Astoria 94
Pinkpop 96
Berlin 00
Canal+ 01
Jools Holland 01
Earl's Court 03
Bonnaroo 06
Saitama 08
There are plenty of others that can really scratch that itch, but those above are absolutely essential for me - Bonnaroo, a popular favourite around here, possibly the least of these. But it's still terrific!
It’s between bonnaroo 2006 and the basement recording of King of Limbs for me
that i was present for?
Atlanta '17
Dublin 2000, Bonnaroo 2006
Why is no one mentioning Saitama 2008 😭? I think it has the best live versions of 15 step, Just, Jigsaw falling into place and How to Disappear Completely
