Yeah we went into the Amex bar at O2 and because two out of the three of us had Amex cards they gave us vouchers for a free beer each. So we ordered the beers and a double gin and tonic. It came to £18 so I pointed out that the beers were meant to be free and he said yes, this is just the GnT 😭
I got really cheap tickets floor seats to a big comedy show and we snuck in 5 of my hip flasks (admittedly 2 were test tube shaped) so my friend said he’d get 3 of the giant Pepsi maxes as mixers. Plus they shared a hotdog. Came to about £57. O2 is extortionate!
I paid close to a tenner on level 1 for Radiohead. Level 4 beers are cheaper it seems as I once went between the two
I paid 9 Euro for the strongest rum and coke of my life in madrid....they took the coke and took the rum and poured both at the same time till the huge plastic cup was full
i just got a "Vodka Lemon" for 12€ plus 3€ deposit in Berlin, super f*ing expensive but everyone left their cups in the hall so we just collected them and got the money via the 3€ deposit, plus a lil bit extra money ,back lol
Yeah I donated a few Euros to folks on night one as we got overwhelmed and confused about the cup deposit. Night two I returned my cups and ran into a guy that collected like 20 of them. He double won that night.
maaaan that could've been me ngl haha Night 1 I collected like 6 Cups but on Night 2 i grabbed everything that was within reach, had to balance my expenses after I got too hyped at the Merchtable lol
These prices might sound crazy, but I just saw an arena show in the US and paid $21 USD for a craft beer. It's freaking late-stage capitalism over here.
can't remember, but more than when i saw them on previous occassions. though the £45 tshirt hurt, but hey ho. only live once, and you can't eat the money anyway. hope you all had a great show.
I was there at the O2 Arena London on the 24th (night 3) and 1 bottle of water was if I remember correctly £4.50p and with the lid removed, to avoid people using it as a projectile.
I went to the o2 and got a double rum and coke. After which I had to remortgage and sell one of the kids to recoup the cost.

You should have cut the kids in half
😭😭
yeah sounds about right

€5.95 (about £5.25) in Berlin
Really!!!??? Omg - I got ripped off!
oh wow!
I paid 5€ for 500 ml in Berlin.
£10 in that disgrace of a venue that is the O2 Arena.
Its $20 in america so still not that bad lol
Right? A water is $10 in the US.
I paid 9 Euro for the strongest rum and coke of my life in madrid....they took the coke and took the rum and poured both at the same time till the huge plastic cup was full
converted to €8,70 in Copenhagen, so maybe 65 DKK?
When I saw radiohead the first time in 2008 the ticket itself was 26 pounds LOL.
christ that really puts into perspective how ridiculous it is nowadays
I paid £15 to see them at Birmingham NEC in 1997. It was £25 to see them in the big top in Victoria Park in 2000.
£27.50 for the South Park show which also had Beck, Supergrass, Sigur Ros and Humphrey Lyttelton (and the not so well know Rock of Travolta)t
God damn.

After what I paid for the tickets, flight and accommodation, I just handed over my credit card and requested liquid therapy.
Berlin, snuck three mini bottles of vodka in and then bought two cokes for 8 euros (still too expensive) for mixing.
£9.95 - Camden Pale 😶
These prices might sound crazy, but I just saw an arena show in the US and paid $21 USD for a craft beer. It's freaking late-stage capitalism over here.
Yes, these prices listed above are a lot more fair than in the US. At a show a water costs $15.
Yes I thought Copenhagen was oddly affordable
Yea, I saw one of the Copenhagen dates and paid maybe $1-2 for a bottle of water, which is incredibly reasonable compared to the US
Same! And the water was either free or almost free, and it all came in a 6 pack holder. It was great, compared to the US.
10 eur in Madrid
But that was for a litre, not a pint
Yes, true. Apologies
Almost £10 for a beer. The uk actually need to lock in
Been to Helsinki a few times and it's that price as a standard in most bars. Even then, a lot of those beers are 400ml!
Was at O2 and should have realised how much drinks would be when the security were screening for liquids not weapons or worse. 😂
£852
Still mad at myself for getting 2 pints at the O2 Had to get something to calm my nerves I suppose.
can't remember, but more than when i saw them on previous occassions. though the £45 tshirt hurt, but hey ho. only live once, and you can't eat the money anyway. hope you all had a great show.
Pints were about £1.80 back then. My ticket was £20 from a tout.
I was on Jaipur for £3.20 at Spoons at the O2.
£7.50 I think it was. But it was 20% off for O2 customers
About half a litre.
We had 4 pints and it was something like £38 quid 😐
I was there at the O2 Arena London on the 24th (night 3) and 1 bottle of water was if I remember correctly £4.50p and with the lid removed, to avoid people using it as a projectile.
20% off the same pint of piss with O2 Priority - still robbed
Vinyl room in Copenhagen for $150. Open bar for 6 hours. 😂😂
For context, a beer and a pretzel will run me like $40-$50 in the US, lol.
Just over £2 when I first saw them
Same here, early 90s so maybe less
lol wow when was that
1995 when they toured the Bends
It was around €6 euros in Berlin. Paid €10+ for a cup of monster tho… prices were absolutely ridiculous for soft drinks.
