YouTube shorts channel that claims to have a shelter, but there is no link to any shelter page, but there is a link to a site selling cat slippers.
That website only barely mentions shelters:
A portion of every sales goes directly to helping animal shelter provide care, love, and a safe home for pets in need. Shop with heart! Every order makes a difference!
There is no mention of what shelter that is. Where it is. Who it's run by. Nothing. Same as the YouTube shorts channel.
There is no "About" page on the website. There is no information on who is getting the money. The Contact is page gives no info.
The "Terms and Conditions" suggest the website is a Shopify site. The page is a template/example of what to put on terms and conditions. It references "My Store" over and over, has spots to insert links, and even has a section directly from Shopify to the merchant telling them how to edit the template. And the bit about law is atrocious, even if they had filled it out.
Unsure if the website is actually associated with Shopify or they just copied from them.
Why?
The sales website is registered in Lithuania.
Shopify does not work with foreign companies. They require companies have US Headquarters.
Tl;Dr: No information about who they are or what shelter they are supporting. Just pushing a sales website that also hides who they are. And you will have no recourse if the shop fucks you.
Edit: there was one definite addition to the Terms and Conditions. A five letter name(?) and generic gmail address of that name.
also have see multiple cat pages do “countdowns” to when you can donate (ex 6 days till surgery/ left to donate) and then it suddenly restarts and still is somehow “critical”
