  • Ahh yes, children learning that everyone has the exact same search engine they do.

  • Also doing this shit at 13 is childish.

    Doing it at 17?

Believe it or not, also childish.

Also the "this is my minimum" is sending me lol

Of course this is your minimum, you copied a photo from Google images

Believe it or not, there's some old ass people who still does that.

I had an acquaintance when we were around that old who was real bad about this even after being outed for it, the early days of reverse image search finally got her to fucking quit lmao

Could be lying about his age as well

  • That's pathetic. He could have drawn something himself.

Most likely they’re no where near as talented. This person wants recognition and acknowledgement because they’re missing it in their real life. They want to feel special and get the dopamine dump from pats on the back by internet strangers without the work or talent

When they're caught in a lie, they usually just break down and blame everything on a past trauma or the old stand-by of "BuT I HAvE AutiSm!!!!!"

And that's what AI generation is for 😂😭

    Why y'all booing me I'm right! 😂

  • Care to post the call out? Kinda the rules here.

  • there was this trend that started going around art-tok where people post their skill in art progression basically, and i always kinda felt like this trend could just be a cesspool of lies and stolen art but i never did any digging or actively tried to look into it just a hunch i have about the trend..

  • I don't see the person mentioning that they drew that.

What exactly is the other possible interpretation?

Do you think perhaps they could have meant that their minimum is posing their hand in a weird way and causing magical swirls like an anime character? If so, why wouldn’t they just post a picture of themselves doing that instead of finding a drawing of someone doing it? But also, if you claim that, you should quit your bullshit too.

Minimum quality expected for manga or something idk. No idea.

I'm just saying that all we see is a picture of a painting and then some screenshots saying they were found on a Google search. I don't see anyone claiming to have drawn it.

Just going with what OP posted.

I am struggling to comprehend your purpose for leaving out the critical caption which is the entire point of this post, but that’s okay. Have a good one, troll.

Are you talking to me? What have I done wrong?

It’s technically not guaranteed that you’re a troll, true. I had the word “likely” in there at first, but decided not to give you that grace since you can apparently speak English just fine and could presumably read the words on the image.

But let’s say you’re being sincere then. Generally when there is text front and center in an image, it is relevant to the image. In this case, that is definitely true. Now you know, and you can avoid being downvoted in the future. You’re welcome!

I'm sorry? Why are you defending OP so much here? OP just posted a picture of drawing. Noone is claiming they drew it. Or did I miss that? In that case please tell me where they are claiming it.

Second picture OP posted is of a reverse Google image search, which only comes up with two examples.

Now why do you think it's wrong of me to question this?

Where they are claiming it is the text that is front and center. “This is my minimum now at 17” or in other words, “this is me, 17 years old, putting the minimum amount of effort into drawing”. Since this looks nothing at all like anyone’s “minimum” and even has clean lettering it is obviously bullshit.

Acknowledge that text in your reply this time instead of repeatedly pretending it wasn’t mentioned as you have been doing. Also explain how it doesn’t fit your criteria.

Failing to do so will ipso facto mean that you implicitly admit that you are a troll.

Shit, you're too invested in a kid barely trying to claim the manga art as their own.

Nah, I’m too invested in analyzing a random troll.

That much is definitely true though. I was considering acknowledging such a thing in my reply but I wasn’t expecting anyone but the troll to notice it. My bad.

Edit: Just to head off the obvious question, it’s for my own amusement and to challenge my mind. Will I be able to cover all the loopholes, or will the troll find a way out? Etc, etc.

  • Probably doesn't deserve a post.

It's barely called out, and the kid taking credit is barely doing that.

Every lie a child makes on the Internet doesn't need a post here imo

Genuinely, the art scene has gotten over trying to callout every teenager thats ever lied about art because uh.

It’s honestly a point of many many teenage and young/beginning artists lives. Not enough to cause a fuss about unless they’re scamming people.

It’s like calling out a 13 year old because they traced over the art from a how to draw book or something like who cares 😭
