It can honestly be both, genuinely. I don't think it's diminishing the violence of nazism to highlight how genuinely pathetic, embarrassing, and puerile it is. It's worse than a kindergartener's notion of how the world does and should work, it is an embarrassing narrativization of the world. It is a worldview bereft of the dignity, shame, and vulnerability it requires to truly be a part of society. It is cringe. It is embarrassing.

To be fair I get the connection the Agents were created through eugenics, although they were from rich people from all cultures and countries. I grew up in a very poor area and there were several times when classmates or coworkers tried to feel me out. Then I went to college and did office jobs for 25 years and not once did anyone ever try to raise the topic. Now I’ve moved back to a less affluent area and I see 88s all the time and I’ve already had one approach in 6 months.

There was a period (1976-1979) where Skrewdriver wasn't a neo-nazi band (that only happened in 1982 when Donaldson re-formed the band with new members). If Lemmy were at one of their concerts, that would have been the time.
Lemmy was by all accounts pro diversity in rock music, as are/was pretty much all decent musicians. It's usually failed artists who fall for such dumb ideologies as a means to never address that their own failings are their own problems.
