I could agree, the deck was more satisfying for before and after photos. For me, I think it's just the general condition and the asphalt used. You could power wash it all day, and still not be nearly as impressed. But if you add in a resealing of that asphalt and new paint, then it would really pop more. But I can understand only showing the power washing side of it for this sub section of Reddit.
