My only meet to ever go 9/9 while also winning best lifter Drug-Tested Open, and Master Divisions.
I had 1 goal when I signed up for this meet months ago, and that was to get my 1st 500 DOTs score.
I wrote a plan on my meet day sheet, and by the time I was 8/8, the 500 DOTs was achieved. This left my final pull for fun, and a few extra points to close out strong. I also coached 8 lifters in the meet with the help of team members.
There is no way I would be in a position to accomplish any of my goals without the support of an army of Smurfs, friends, and family.
I got started here in this sub over a decade ago, and the community was/is an integral foundation for where I am today personally as a lifter, and professionally as a gym owner.
First of all, you’re a badass, and an inspiration not only your child, but others. As far as fatigue, I miss tons of sleep quality due to a house full of 3 kids and a blue collar job that runs 10 hours a day where I sometimes have to be a human forklift. When I see where a lift may take a hit or might cause form compromises, I simply flip days around or push a heavy compound back 2 days, while subbing in speed work so firm stays on point. I do stay on top of food intake at all times, but man I feel amazing when I get a full 8 hours sleep.
Good job
Incredible, I wanna be like you
Make training fun every single session, and you can be better than me. I never train without laughter, or the occasional shot of whiskey.
Why did you assume my training is not fun xD
With a username like that, you definitely project a fun vibe. LOL
Super inspiring as a 75kg newly masters lifter. Thanks
I’d be happy to help you if you ever have any questions about how I manage fatigue, or structure my schedule while having a full time job.
The hard part for me is being a single dad and also having a full time job lol. I am curious about your approach to fatigue though

Wow, impressive dedication! Thanks for sharing.
That's awesome dude. Congratulations!
Thank you very much. Now my goal is to total 10x bodyweight.
You’re inhuman and give me hope that I’ve got many years left in the sport after starting in my 30s . You make it look effortless on the platform .
Enjoy your journey, and help as many younger lifters as you can along the way. The karma comes back 10-fold.
There is incredible, and then there is this. Full stop, no * needed. Inspiring work.
Also, conventional "As God Intended" (don't come at me I'm playin).
Thank you. I enjoy showing others that you are never too old to start this sport.
This is very impressive man. I'm proud of you.
Thank you very much. It was my 25th meet, and I finally had a perfect day.
