Easy reps of 420 on this bar after main movement- really good sign of things to come
I pulled 220kg @ 90kg BW just before the first covid lockdown and hadn't been able to do it since. It became a mental sticking point for years but I finally broke past it with 222.5kg @ 87kg BW at a local comp on the weekend. Felt good 😁

9 ish weeks out from next meet. A few training prs this prep so far:
Squat 410 x 6 at rpe 9 Pause squat 395 x 4 at rpe 9 Deadlift 535 single at rpe 8 (rpe pr)
Bench hasn't kicked into gear yet. Upping the tricep work and have been using a lot of john meadows style accessories to add some tissue. 1400lb total in sight
200kg deadlift. I used to be a lot stronger with a max of 242.5kg but lost a lot of strength and muscle over the last 2 years in lower body due to bakers cyst. Only got back into squatting and deadlifting a few weeks ago and figured I'd see what my current max is and worked up to a single of 200kg.

I'm glad it didn't drop too far down at least. I probably could have done a little more but not so much more than I wanted to continue adding weight as I just wanted a ballpark for where I'm at right now. Depending on how training goes going forward, I might even have a comp again at some point.
Been in the gym since 2006 finally hit a 400lb bench. Took a long time, not a gifted lifter but i can be consistent 😁
Awesome milestone, congratulations!
Congrats brother.
This gives me hope. Been in the gym for 3 years now and my progress has been slow on the bench too.
