Recently, we went to Glitch Ginza. The wait was about an hour. It was cold, but not too cold. We tried 5 beans, all pour over. Interestingly, our best cup was the El Vergel Java. They were all good cups, but the El Vergel was best followed by Finca Bernardina #799 Geisha.

  • Man an hour wait for coffee is wild but if there’s one thing Japanese people love more than coffee cigarettes and sushi it’s a good line.

  • Nice lineup! And glad you got to experience. Have yet to make it to Tokyo - currently No.1 on my list of places I want to go/have never been — but when I do would happily wait an hour for that.

  • Staying at the Mandarin, this is relatively close. Is it worth the wait? Is there a good time of day to go?

It is worth it for a hobbyist because it is a destination for us. We could appreciate the different beans. But, for those who are not, they might not appreciate the hype and wait.

I would check out the Chiyoda City location. On a non-coffee related note, ask your concierge to get you a spot at Pizza Bar on 38th! Must must must try for pizza lovers.

  • What did you think of the El Diviso thermal shock washed?

  • We recommend Glitch in Osaka. Compared to Tokyo, the waiting time was minimum.

Except you have to go all the way to Osaka...when you could just go to the location near Akihabara and not wait

    Maybe we'll do this.

  • Looks like a really rad spot. Are those cards details about the coffee? (Sorry don’t have my glasses on this morning lol)
